19| Wedding

When I was younger I never wanted to get marry. But on the other hand my younger sister had already planned her wedding. I always thought that was nonsense. Then the Salvatore brothers came in and seeing Elena and Stefan together I thought I just need the right person. Someone who respects and cares for me.

Then he came. A enemy of my friends and family. But a lover of mine. He was perfect cause he was bad but good just for me.

Now I can't even imagine that in few hours I'll be walking down the aisle to meet him at the end.

Everyone was getting ready. Thea was accessorizing my hair. While Freya was steaming my dress. "Hey Mom! You called?" Chris was already ready in his white tuxedo. He has his girlfriend coming today.

"Yeah I did Chrissy! I actually wanted that you'll be the one to walk me down the aisle. Neither do I have a father not your dad does and I think no one else is perfect for this position rather than you. So will you?" He smiled and hugged me tightly. "Sure mommy! I'll always be their for you!" From behind Thea spoke up "must be his new trick to impress Leah!" Chris grabbed the pillow from the chair near and threw it at her.

It was time. I was all ready. The maid of honour and the best man were also ready. Thea adjusted the perfect bouquet in my hand and I interlocked my arms with Chris. I peeked through the doorway to look at everything and found everything perfect.

Music played. Caroline and Stefan walked down and I heard few laughters and then it died out. Rebekah instructed me to now move. "Ready?" Chris asked and I nodded with a big smile.

I took a deep breath and walked. My heels clicked on the surface as the slow music played. All eyes were on me. But my eyes were on him. Slowly the voices were getting lower the music was leaving my ears. I was just focusing on the man that is wating for me at the altar. Chris murmured something which rained roses. It brought me back to the real world. It was also just perfect like my dreams. We stopped in front of the stage. Chris whispered to Nik "she's all yours dad!" And sat at his place.

Nik took my hand and the ceremony began. Elijah said few words and it was time for the vows. Nik started "You love me in love and complete me in ways I never knew possible. From this day forth, I promise to listen to you and learn from you, to support you and accept your support" I giggled at his 'learn from you' part.

"You have made me the happiest man in the world today by agreeing to share your life with me. I promise to cherish and respect you. I promise to care for you and protect you. I promise to comfort you and encourage you. I promise to be with you for all of eternity my dear Ava. My love. My life" he wiped the tears off my face that I didn't even knew fell off.

If was my turn. "My love, I give you this ring. Wear it with love and joy. I choose you to be mine. I choose you to be my husband to have and to hold, from this day forward" I sniffed trying to hold back my tears.

"You have taught me that two people joined together with respect, trust, and open communication can be far stronger and happier than each could ever be alone. You are the strength I didn't know I needed and the joy that I didn't know I lacked. Today, I choose to spend the rest of my life with you" he rubbed my hand trying to comfort me.

We both exchanged the rings after this. The room was filled with joy, happiness and love. "You may now kiss the bride dear brother" Klaus's scent and touch overwhelmed me while his hot kisses set fire to a desire stronger than any I had ever experienced. But it was just a wedding kiss for the audience. He placed his lips softly of me and he grabbed my waist and dipped me.

We walked down the aisle to the outside for the rest of the events.

We had a white royal couch for us from where we can see the whole event and people can come meet us in a place. I looked around the crowd.

Chris was talking to his girl Leah. Thea was with Lizzie and Josie. Caroline was talking with some students from Boarding school. Stefan was talking to people that I thought would never come today.

Damon and Elena.

I excused myself and went towards them. "Damon Elena what a nice surprise" my tone dripped of sarcasm. "Congratulations!" Both said in union. "So when did you both came I never saw you at the ceremony?" Damon smiled at me. "We just came in and will be leaving soon to Avie!" I broke the eye contact and took a deep breath. "I'm happy for you D. You got the girl. The doppelganger you were after for ages. I wish you were also happy for me like I am for you" I turned around to go away "I'm Ava I'm happy for you. At first I was angry that you are back with someone that wounded you so deep that it never went away of 17-18 years but now I see even though he did hurt you but he is the only one that will make you smile always Avery. Always" I hugged Damon so tight that I'm able get the feeling that my best friend is back again.

I met Sophia also today. She was very happy that I was happy. Just like her father. Damon and Elena are also getting married soon. We just don't know when. He'll take the cure too when the time is right.

It was time to announce the most important thing of tonight.

"Um excuse me everyone. Hello!" I grabbed everyone's attention. "So it may be our big day but I like to give a gift to my little daughters" Lizzie and Josie's eyes sparked up. "I know Ava raised them up and their father is Alaric who hated me truly. But now that their mother is mine. We thought that" we both took a deep breath not knowing what their answer will be. "Nik is gonna adopt Liz and Jo!" I closed my eyes as silence took upon the environment. I just felt someone hug me so tight that I might lose my breath. It was Josie. I turned around and Lizzie was doing the same with Niklaus. "Yes mom YES!" Lizzie shouted making me calm myself.

Everything is in place now.

"Um since mom was gone for sometime Klaus took care of us no matter that we are no one to him. I always wanted what Thea and Hope had with him cause since daddy left me and Jo missed that feeling. But because of you Klaus we can have that. So thank you so much! And thank you for also taking care and loving our mom" Lizzie's word made my eyes full of tears. I am happy that they are happy. That's all that matters.

It was time for the best thing of the party. Music and Dance. I can never get tired from both.

But life takes turn everytime and this time I'm happy with whatever that happened. My kids, my family are happy so then I'm happy.

This what will be pattern always.

Pray to God to not ruin our perfect little, ok not so little family.

I'll do anything to let the things be like this forever. Cause I love my family.
