Chapter 8

Y/n woke up, it was time for the worst possible thing to happen, Y/n came down the stairs grabbed a water bottle and drank it, only to spit it out dramatically when she saw skekTek working on a machine in the garage.

"What, is that in the middle of the garage?" Said Y/n, SkekTek turned to her and he stammer, trying to give his explanation only to give up and give it to her straight.

"A machine to return to Thra." Said SkekTek.

"Yeah, I think I know why." Said Y/n as SkekTek looked surprised but terrified, like she knew a dark secret.

"This place sucks dude, I don't blame ya, just don't burn the entire house down." Said Y/n.

SkekTek gone back to his machine and Y/n was going to drink a cup of juice to get it out of her head.

SkekMal was right behind her and she was confused, before feeling his beak in her scalp, was he preening her scalp?

Never thought she would see the day that a bird would preen her scalp especially a puppet bird.

But she took it because SkekMal was basically acting like her mom when she style her hair, being angry and telling her to stop moving.

After he was done, Y/n just look at the Tv to see that UrTih was intrigued by a bird series, correction a bird series that he was intrigued by like he was with dinosaur planet and other animal shows.

She only looked around, SkekSa was battling the Champion with Kyogre, UrGoh was smoking outside, SkekGra somehow managed to get the horse to like him, some Skeksis forming small groups and SkekSil almost got punched by SkekVar but Y/n sent them both to time out in their rooms.

When she opened the attic door she saw a group of Skeksis gathering around an ouija board, she quietly closed the attic, before deciding she choose violence and messed with the power, but before she could do that, Quinn called.

"Yeah? Oh....... well sure, I'll meet you there." Said Y/n before hanging up.

"Who....... was that?" Asked UrGoh.

"Basically the son of my employer, he says he wants to meet up to talk about the situation at WonderTainment." Said Y/n as she grabbed her coat for the cold winter.

Urgoh hummed before hearing SkekGra gasping at a soap opera, apparently this guy was gonna marry the main woman but he was already married.

"Thanks for coming on short notice, again sorry if I am interrupting your daily plans but Mr. Moore wants you to take Donner and...... keep it for testing, I know it's a big challenge since Donner was the one that almost killed Grayson and earned us an almost ruined reputation. But you just need to do diagnostics and keep it for the week until you are certain it won't go haywire." Said Quinn as he gave her a tablet that was connected to Donner's computer brain.

"But it's weird, Donner haven't attacked someone since...... the beginning, but it's more weird that Carlie was up to put the kids to sleep, which she doesn't do unless it's nap time, but naptime wasn't until 45 minutes later. And the animatronics next performance wasn't until 1 hour later as well." Said Quinn as he looked genuinely confused and stressed out about it.

Y/n looked at Donner who was shut down and ready for transport.

"Fine, raise my paycheck for next week." Said Y/n, Quinn smiled before his phone rang.

"Oh, I'm sorry, it's my boyfriend." Said Quinn as he held the phone, Y/n nodded her head, internally realizing that he was gay.

"Ah that explains the fruity friendliness." Thought Y/n jokingly before going back to the bitter thought of having to bring a robot dog into her vacation home.

After she brought it into the garage where skekTek was still working on his machine, he was in awe and in sudden fear when he realized that was the robot that bit Y/n's coworker's brain out.

Donner was clean of with the stench of bleach and cleaning supplies, his teeth seemed to almost held traces of blood stains.

"Running with the diagnostics and....." said Y/n as she pressed the button and Donner began to move he first looked at Y/n then at skekTek before barking like a playful dog, jumping and frolicking around happily sniffing around and glowing different colors like a dance floor.

The door was opened and Donner began to explore and saw the Skeksis who in turned were frightened by the animatronic they heard about almost killing Y/n's coworker.

SkekSa was ready to bring out her sword before Y/n quickly grabbed Donner by the scruff of his neck and ended the diagnostic.

"Sorry for frightening you." Said Y/n before dragging Donner to the larger and cleaner living room.

"Y/n what are you thinking?! Bringing a machine that almost killed your coworker!?" Said SkekSa horrified as Y/n adjusted Donner's ear and began sniffing around and panting like a regular dog before lights began to flash and he began to jump around, trying to get Y/n to play.

Though the Skeksis only got a pause from him, he began to growl before barking like a rabid dog, his teeth began to show as his voice box was booming,"UNKNOWN ETITY!!! INTRUDER ALERT!!!"

Y/n quickly shut him off, her ear were ringing and she massaged it for a few minutes before dragging the dog back to its place in the garage.

Y/n was watching SkekSo's choice and it was a documentary series about the history of opera.

She yawned, trying to forget about Donner being in the garage unsupervised, until she heard a strange noise, in the restroom, sounded like someone coughing up, all of the Skeksis looked over, confused but also suspicious, ready to attack, that was until whining was heard and out popped a familiar face.

It was SkekLach! SkekOk was surprised but he rejoiced while SkekLach was confused on why SkekOk was rejoicing while UrSen was coming out of the restroom and the other mystics we're surprised but they were still pleased that UrSen was here now.

"Why is my restroom a spawn point?" Said Y/n as she looked confused as SkekLach, but thankfully skekOk was teaching SkekLach the writing and their adventures.

Y/n only sighed as she slumped her shoulders and pressing her face into SkekVar's arm, just wanting to go to sleep.

But she forced herself up before seeing something out of the corner of her eyes and sprung away screaming at the jump-scare.

And apparently it was only UrSen who also recoiled in shock.

"What's next?" Asked Y/n as she rubbed her face only to see a Halloween add.

"Ohhhh yeah...." Said Y/n.

Seems like the month of hallows had began....
