Chapter 15

Waking up in the morning, and it turns out the Skeksis and urru can merge back together, why? Because SkekGra and UrGoh did it.

"So goddamn bright." Y/n said as her face scrunched up, putting down my drink so she wouldn't spill it on accident.

"Wait you can do it without the crystal being put back together? Wait a minute, earth is not Thra but hey I don't have enough logic for this." Said Y/n as she looked away from GraGoh's light, the urskek looking down at her and lowered himself down.

Y/n only rubbed her forehead, wondering what to do since GraGoh was basically a large glow stick, and seems to be the type of urskek to wonder about her therapy.

"Anyways, so you can basically split into two again and then become one whenever you please?" Y/n asked.

GraGoh nodded.

"Then why aren't the rest of THEM doing that as well?!" Y/n said as she gestured to the urru and Skeksis.

The urru and Skeksis were reluctant to speak up.

Even GraGoh was reluctant to speak.

"I swear the magic of friendship will be the the most beautiful and stupidest thing I have ever thought about. But anyways, GraGoh, answer the question please." Y/n asked, the gelflings and Hup only looked at the scene like they were watching an argument between parents.

GraGoh seemed more conflicted.

Y/n only threw up her hands in defeat and went over to the kitchen to eat a snack, before feeding the Urskek wrap his hands around her, enveloping her into an apologetic hug.

"What are you doing?" Y/n asked as she bit into her snack.

"Apologizing for not answering your question, I am aware that humans have this ritual of hugging another as an act of apologizing." Explained GraGoh.

Y/n remained silent, before sighing in defeat and accepting the hug, obviously not because she was a sucker for hugs.

"Anyways, where's Hup?" Y/n asked, looking around before seeing Hup outside fighting a coyote with a ladle while SkekMal was not giving a flip about Hup even though he was near Hup just several feet away.

Y/n only inhaled and exhaled deeply, before grabbing her shotgun and quickly went out and scared off the coyote chase it off before sighing in annoyance and relief.

"Hup... bro.... Why are you fighting a coyote with a ladle?" Y/n asked as she took the ladle away from Hup who stayed silent and looked guilty.

"...... Use a Baseball bat next time." Y/n said before handing him a wooden baseball bat and returning inside the house.

"So anyways....... How am I going to deal with glow stick over here?" Y/n thought out loud.

"What's a glow stick? Is it like a stick but covered with glow moss?" Guessed Deet.

"Uhhh.... I don't have the knowledge to say, but no, it's not a regular stick with glowing moss, it's a man made item." Y/n said.

Y/n only watch as GraGoh was hovering around, making her wish that her lazy self could hover around but gravity was being a major bitch.

"Heretic! Get you and that creature away from each other!" Demanded SkekUng, GraGoh ignored SkekUng's demand as they learned the cosmic secrets of not giving a damn in the whole universe.

"Alright, so you two can be whole but can also split up that easily? I thought you could only remain together after you merge?" Y/n questioned before getting a phone call.

"Hang on." Y/n said before going out of the house to pick up the call. "Oh hey Quinn, what are you doing calling me up like...... two weeks before Christmas?" Y/n said over the phone.

"That's just it Y/n! I wanted to invite you over to my christmas party, since it's nearly the end of the year and also to partly apologize for the incidents with the animatronics and all.... Ya know....." Explained Quinn, a small nervous chuckle could be heard from him.

Y/n perked up when she heard him mention the Christmas party, she soon felt the uncomfortable feeling of remembering of what had happened for the past few months, this was truly unexpected and especially what had happened with Grayson's near death experience and his lawsuit.

As she was in thought, Y/n noticed everyone was watching her from the windows, she scoffed before quickly walking off and got into her car.

Y/n was conflicted, on one hand she could go to the christmas party, probably feel really awkward but get free food while on the other hand she did want to show the gelfling the holiday but babysit the Skeksis and to make sure the skeksis don't do any sketchy stuff...... especially SkekSil since his lyin' ass would most definitely be the one to make both sides pissed off that even the Grinch would be put to shame.

Y/n held the phone, Quinn was still on call.

"So.... What's your answer Y/n? Of course you can decide if you don't want to go you can." Said Quinn.

"Yeah, I'll go to the Christmas party Quinn, I'll see ya." Y/n quickly responded, taking the chance of not being a babysitter for large bird puppets.

"Alright Y/n! You won't regret it." Promised Quinn, his voice now excited and eager.

After Y/n hanged up, she got out of the car, got back in the house and headed to the kitchen, only to see the Skeksis were all trying to shove GraGoh into a closet only for a Train Christmas ornament to fall to the ground and shatter.

"..........." Everyone was silent and still as they looked at the shattered Train ornament.

Gelfling:.........

Hup:...........
