y/n Hunter has been best friends with Cory almost her whole life, but last month she developed a small crush on him...

"Topanga" Y/n says worried as she sits down, "yes" Topanga says confused as she looks up.

"I think I have a crush on Cory" y/n looks down afraid of what her bestfriend will say, "what" Topanga says making y/n look up.

"I don't know what to do"

"well I don't think you should tell anyone, especially Shawn"

Y/n's last relationship with this guy called William hadn't gone well, he would treat her terribly and one day Shawn saw him shouting at her, she was crying obviously having done nothing wrong. Shawn stepped in he couldn't bare to see his sister cry like that, and ever since that day Shawn hasn't let any boy near y/n, except from Cory.

"and some people might make fun of you, you know because Cory doesn't exactly know what's going on around him" Topanga says "I'm happy for you though Cory's a great guy" Topanga finishes off before smiling.

ever since that day y/n has tried to hide her feelings with ever stare and ever look she tries not to blush, she doesn't want Shawn to see her blush especially around Cory.

one day y/n got a note saying meet me outside your locker, "Topanga look at this" y/n says as she shows Topanga the note.

"I wouldn't go" She says as she furrows her eyebrows.

"why"

"It might be a trick people are mean, y/n" Topanga pauses before taking a breath "I just don't want you getting hurt"

"Topanga I don't think someone would do something like that, I'll be fine"

y/n looked near her locker to see nobody there, thinking it was a trick she walked away, "y/n" she heard a familiar voice say.

she turned to see Cory, "did you write that note" she asks Cory confused

"yes" he looks down

"why"

"because y/n I like you, and not just as a friend I think we can be more than friends" Cory says quite quickly.

y/n smiled slightly "I like you too Cory"

Cory looks down, fidgeting with his hands "so um, do you wanna be my girlfriend?"

"yes" y/n hugged Cory tightly.

Cory and you decided to go to Cory's house, Cory opened the door to see Topanga and Shawn sitting on the sofa waiting for them.

Shawns eyes immediately fall to Cory and y/n holding hands, "what's going on" Shawn asks as he stands up.

"are you guys dating" y/n dropped her grip out of Cory's hand "Shawn"

"no, y/n. I want to hear what Cory has to say"

"Shawn I promise that I won't hurt y/n like William did"

Shawn looks at Cory "fine, but if you touch her or do anything to hurt her your dead okay"

"okay" Cory smiles before pulling y/n into another hug.
