Selena's POV

I had someone to kill
He stole money from my family and I had to deal with it quickly.
So now I'm dressing in something classy
A long sleeved shirt that shows a thin stripe of my stomach and a pair of black leggings with a white long blazer.
With a pair of nude brown heels
I wrapped my hair in a high bun with stands of my curly hair on  my face.
I also set up a hair appointment
I can't straighten my hair no more my hair is dead and it's been getting healthy.
My phone buzzes

Adenzia - Got my doctor appointment today imma give u updates

Selena- Omg yes I need to know how you and the baby are

Adenzia- we're fine but I can't wait this is my second pregnancy

I feel my heat tighten and suddenly my feel bad for her
Her second pregnancy
The first pregnancy she had she had a miscarriage and this might bring some emotions that aren't good.

I decided to go in my black Lamborghini.

And I quicky drove to the place we chose to have a friendly date.

She leads us to a table next to the window

His last name is Sanchez? Nice to know.

She nods and leaves us.

Andrea our waitress comes back with our drinks
I ordered The southern plate
Just greens fried chicken and mashed potatoes and baked Mac and cheese
The best meal ever
Brendan orders chicken tenders and French fries

He shrugs " I'll give you a bite this place makes the best chicken tenders"

Our food comes and he's enjoying his tenders and I take a bite of the Mac and cheese.
Ohmygod I'm in love
This place is amazing this will be my new restaurant I'll go to.
I'll bring Adenzia and Esma here sometime.
I think my two nephews will enjoy this so much.
" Any family?" I ask Brendan
He shrugs " My dads dead and my mom is just..." his voice trails off

" We'll I have three siblings and around 6 cousins from my moms side and my dads side. Then I have my family whose from Italy and from Spain, so lots and I have people who I consider family but aren't blood related to me. I have two nephews and a baby neice or another nephew on the way since my twin sister is pregnant"  I say

" What about your parents?" He asks me
" I'm close with them but I'm planning on moving to Spain in  a few years but my dads being hard about it. I'm the youngest girl and I've always been a daddy's girl my sister is a mommy's girl"
I say taking a bite of my mashed potatoes.
" Is it nice?" He asks me
" What?"
" having a family who cares about you" he says curiously
I stop and wonder what kind of childhood he had
And I suddenly feel bad
