I'm vaguely aware of docking with the lead Rebel ship, and being taken to the medical wing. The droids and medics take Luke and I to separate rooms, and that's about all I remember because they do something that puts me to sleep.
When I wake up, I don't feel so nauseous or dizzy. And I feel more relaxed than I did. My eye is still closed, but it doesn't hurt as much. I look to my left and see Luke laying there, he's asleep though.
About five minutes after I woke up, one of the medical droids comes in.
"Good, you're awake. I will check your vitals. Then the medic attending to you will come and talk to you about your condition."
I nod, then ask, "Could I have some water please?"
"Of course, give me one moment."
After the droid checks my vitals, it goes and gets me a glass of water, which feels good on my dry throat. The droid leaves, and I close my eyes so that I can meditate a little while I wait. It feels peaceful and relaxing to meditate and sort out all of my emotions and thoughts, especially since it was just confirmed, at least for me, that mine and my brother's father is the right hand to the Emperor of the whole galaxy.
A knock sounds on the door, jolting me from my meditation. The door opens and a human female with auburn hair comes in.
"Hello, it's good to see you awake. I'm Isla, the medic assigned to you."
"Hi. Has Luke woken up yet?"
"Yes, he woke up about an hour ago. We told him to get some more sleep since we figured that you wouldn't wake up for a while."
"Why?"
"Well, when you arrived, both of you were in shock, both physical and emotional, but from what we could tell, yours was the worst. Princess Leia and Mr. Calrissian couldn't tell us much about how you received your injuries, except that they were caused by a lightsaber, which isn't something we know much about. Your injury will be the simplest to heal, all you need to do is keep a bacta patch over your eye for a week or so, and it should be fine. We are having a cybernetic arm made for your brother, which will take a little while to manufacture. Do you have any questions?"
"Will I still be able to see out of that eye?"
"Yes. Whatever caused your injury missed your eye, mostly. Your eyelashes were singed a little, but your vision was not impaired. Once your injury has healed, it should be fine. There might be slight burning or stinging sensations once in a while as it seems to be a burn wound, but aside from that it will be fine."
"How long will I get the burning sensations?"
"It will be common at first, but after a while they should happen less and less frequently. Before I go, could you tell me just how both you and your brother received your injuries?"
"Sure. Luke and I went to Bespin to rescue Leia and Han from Darth Vader. We fought him, but he won after he cut Luke's arm off, and cut over my eye. So, the answer as to what caused them, is a lightsaber."
"Thank you, I would advise that you get some rest. That will help the bacta to work faster."
I nod, and lay my head back. As usual, sleep evades me. I sit up so that I can meditate a bit, I've learned that sometimes that will help me fall asleep. As I meditate, I start to relax, and get sleepy. I pull myself out of my meditation, and lay back once again, this time, I fall asleep quickly.
