Prologue Part Uno

Birth of princess Maya

A/n there will be four parts to the prologue before we start the actual story timeline of the show. As to not confuse you the prologue chapters with be called prologue and then the numbers. For chapter after that it will be chapter then it's number. There might be a smut chapter idk. Enjoy.

"What were you thinking?!" Lord Mictlan yells at his wife. A baby girl with raven hair, beautiful brown skin, and auburn brown eyes babbled in front of him. Her name was Maya. Behind him on his throne another baby girl was. She peered over her fathers throne to look at the other baby.

" I made this for you, mi amor." Lady Micte explains. From his throne his daughter floated out. She had beautiful h/c locks, and s/c skin the seemingly glowed in the light of the fire. The girls most unique attribute was a pair of golden eyes. Her name was Y/n goddess of Magic, Chaos, Nightmares, Dreams, and Power.

Another child of the age of two with ruby eyes , white hair, a pale skin watched Y/n from behind his father. Camazotz god of bats. His name was Zatz. "Spawn of a human and the goddess of death." Mictlan growls. Y/n goes over to her mother Lady Micte, and lands on her head dress. "The one thing that could actually hurt me." Mictlan continues.

Mictlan smiles softly at his daughter as she reaches her small hands towards his face. Just as quickly as the softness appears it vanishes as Mictlan's face splits in half. Mictlan glares at the other gods in his temple. Zatz's hides behind his fathers leg in fear.

Mictlan growls at his wife and her half-human child. Maya merely laughs at him with Y/n. "Give me that thing!" Mictlan orders. He reaches his clawed fingers toward Maya and Y/n lets go a scared noise. "Wait my dear," Micte stops her husband.

"If you sacrifice my half-divine child, it will increase your power immensely." She explains. Micte slide her finger under Maya's neck and boobs her nose. Y/n floats down from Micte's headpiece and floats next to Maya. They grabs each others hands and babble.

Micte leans forward and holds Mictlan's face pulling it together. "Ah, you think of everything, mi amor." Mictlan praises. With a small wave of his hand a ceremonial dagger was in front of all the gods. Zatz looked at Y/n with wonder filling his ruby eyes.

Mictlan laughs as the other gods whisper. Mictlan moved to take Maya from Micte but her hand stopped him. "Oh, yes. Sacrificing her now would increase your power, my love. But not as much as it would, if you sacrifice her when she was grown." Micte explains. She make Maya float in front of him as Y/n goes next to her.

Mictlan grabs his daughter away making both children sad. He thinks for a moment before clasping his claws around Maya's small head. "You know, sacrifices are more effective when they're ripe." Mictlan smiles while keeping his daughter away from Maya.

"Why don't you wait, my sweet?" Micte said while pulling a sad but giggling Maya away. "I'll send her to the land of the living. Let the Tecas raise her." She states. Micte floats Maya above the dagger while Maya just babbles.

"You can have her when she's, say, 15." Micte offers. Holding Y/n he places one of his claws on Mayas forehead. "Yes. Give them plenty of time to fall in love with it. before we rip it away for our sacrifice." Mictlan allows.

Zatz looks up from his father shoulder staring at Y/n. Y/n looks over at him a babbles towards him. Mictlan let's go of Y/n and she starts floating towards Zatz. "Our?" Micte ask. "Me and mi hija. I'll make her kill your half-human and then she will rule by our side." Mictlan chuckles darkly. Neither notice Y/n getting very close to Zatz and his father.

Camazotz sees the young princesa coming his way and gasps. He looks to his shoulder and sees Zatz making grabbing hands to her. Lady Micte face falls slightly before she begins to laugh. "My husband, you are the master of inflicting pain." Micte praises. Mictlan's face splits and he looks to his wife.

"Just think" Mictlan disorientated voice started before laughing. "The Tecas will have to do all the work of raising it." Mictlan gushed. "They will be like our servants!" Micte beams. Y/n stops making her way over to Zatz and pauses in the air. Zatz whines and Camazotz sighs in relief that she had stopped.

Y/n looks at her father with a gaze Camazotz could only think of as angry. Maybe she knew what they were saying and didn't like it he thought. Mictlan hums at his wife's words. "And it will never know who its true mother is." Mictlan laughs while pushing Micte away. He puts his claw under Micte's chin and pulls her in closer.

"You will be nothing to it. Nothing. Nothing at all." Mictlan asserts. Micte pauses for a moment before a smile appears on her face. "Magnifico. I'll send her off now." Micte says a little hesitantly. She unemotionally pulls Maya along not looking at her in the slightest. Zatz, Camazotz, and Y/n look at Maya with worry in their eyes.

Mictlan growls as the temple doors slam shut. Only then does he realize his daughter is not next to him. Y/n almost grabs Zatz hand but is pulled away. Tears prickle both children's eyes as they are pulled apart. Mictlan doesn't look back as his daughter floats next to him. He sits on his throne placing Y/n on his leg.
