Quinceanera 

Pt2

A burning hatred filled Y/n as she moved in front of Maya. She practically ripped off her ceremonial dress and revealed her normal clothes underneath. Gunnar stood next to his beloved owner while growling softly.

"I am but an emissary for Lord Mictlan." Zatz announced as he walked forward. The crowd gasped in fear.

"Why are you here now? We have done nothing but honor the gods." Queen Teca yelled as she held two daggers. Confusion was evident on her face. Y/n glare down at him as the crowds stared up at her mother.

"Please, allow me to escort the honorable Princess Maya and Princess Y/n to her rightful kingdom in the underworld." Zatz explained as he continued to move forward.

Y/n furrowed her brow. What was he speaking of. Gunnar shared a look with Y/n as Maya spoke up.

"Y/n's rightful kingdom?" Maya pondered.

"And once in the underworld, Princess Maya will be sacrificed."

The crowds gasped again and a man fainted. The jaguars shared a look.

"Sacrificed?" The brothers questioned at the same time. Maya gasped in fear and Y/n moved toward the edge of the place.

"Over my dead rotting corpse!" Y/n yelled at Zatz. Zatz stared up at her and paused his walk. He saw the tears in her eyes that she refused to let fall. King Teca sighed as his wife glared at him. The two warrior pumas snarled uncertainty.

"Alas, Lady Micte Maya's true mother,

shall welcome her to the endless death. While Lord Mictlan, Lady Micte, La Muerte, and Lord Xibalba will welcome their daughter back home." Zatz yelled almost spitefully.

Y/n froze for a moment. Lord Mictlan, Lady Micte, La Muerte, and Lord Xibalb were waiting for her. Why?

"True Mother? Lord Mictlan, Lady Micte, La Muerte, and Lord Xibalb waiting for Y/n?" The jaguars gasped.

"Mama, what is he saying?" Maya asked softly her tone wavering. Y/n stared at her mother removing her gaze from Zatz. Queen Teca looked back at her daughters.

"Everything will be all right, mijas." Queen Teca sighed gently. King Teca began to speak but all Y/n could hear was a ringing in her ears. She stared down at Zatz as the sound grew in her ears. An image flashed through her head.

A younger Zatz and Y/n say together under a large pillar in a temple. They laughed softly as they leaned back. Y/n opened her hand and a gold glow shined out. It eliminated the dark temple and shined on Zatz face. His face held a look of awe.

"Now, please allow me to escort Princess Maya and Princess Y/n. I promise you,

no harm will come to anyone. But you resist,

and I swear you will all die." Zatz voice cut through the ringing.

The crowds gasped as the visiting royals and magic user gasped in fear. King Teca looked back at his daughters. Maya's face held confusion and fear while Y/n's face held anger and hate.

"In the name of Teca, attack!" King Teca yelled as they jumped down. As each jaguar landed there weapons glowed golden. They stood before Zatz as he groaned.

This was not what he wanted to do. Maya went to fight but as Queen Teca was distracted Y/n slipped away onto Gunnar. A loud bellowing came from a trumpet which Zatz used.
