The table was quiet, only the sound of the utensils crashing against the porcelain plates could be heard. Lifting your eyes from your own tray, you cleared your throat rather harshly, Lucius and Gael's attention were soon on you.

❝So, did you know that Sir. Clyde was a teacher here?❞ You began in hopes of striking a conversation to ease the mood on the table. Lucius and Gael have been quiet for as long as they been sitting together, it was not like their character when they were with you, but once again their dislike for each other seemed to be greater than any other force. Pointing your spoon at Lucius, he quickly caught on that the question was directed to him, though his face soon morphed into one of confusion.

❝No? Who even is that?❞ He retorted as his brows furrowed even further.

❝I second that.❞ This time was Gael's voice, leaving out a tired sight, you did agree to explain to him about whom the man was after all. It was no surprise for him to not know about Clyde, but Lucius?

❝He used to be Prince Astro's teacher back in Oblivion kingdom, I unexpectedly met him while visiting the training ground. However, Lucius you don't seem to recall the man's identity at all.❞ You pointed out while eyeing the said's tray, noticing this, he slightly pushed the plate towards you, indicating you to take whatever you desired.

❝Oh, so he was there when you fainted?❞ Lucius questioned between munches, if he recalled correctly, you only had the chance to visit the training ground of Oblivion only two times and taking into consideration that he interrupted you one of those said times, he only caught sight of that red haired guy, which he highly doubted the possibility of him being a teacher.

❝Yeah, he even praised me after I used my magic!❞ You proudly declared as you sipped into your apple juice. The events from earlier left quite the hungry spirit on you, Sir Clyde did not stop his training after everyone introduced themselves, but instead instructed them to keep practicing with the dummies.

❝Hold on.❞ Gael spoke as he hardly swallowed his food. ❝You fainted, N/N ?! Why did that happen? Were you being careless like always? Why were you in the training grounds to begin with?❞ He bombarded you with questions. Massaging your temple as thinking of the answer to every question, Lucius caught sigh of your face. Sending a wink in your direction, he also handed you a slice of apple, his confident smirk, instantly letting you understand the message, 'big brother has got your back.'

❝Why not?❞ As soon as those words left his mouth, you wanted to face palm yourself. Adverting your eyes to Gael, you could see how his emerald orbs judged Lucius, yet concern was still visible in his eyes.

❝Why?!❞ You could tell by his answer that he was lost in words. I mean do you blame him for being as flabbergasted as you?

❝Why not?❞ He once again answered, his calm demeanor making you wonder if he was actually taking Gael's question seriously. ❝Even though the reason of your concerns is undeniably plausible, there is no need to make such a big deal out of something that is already in the past.❞ He emphasized while once again eating his asparagus, almost wanting to give the male a 'A+' for his great answer. You refrained yourself by vigorously nodding at his statement.
