Chapter 21

I decided to go to Mon's house.

I parked the car in front of their house. Why do I feel nervous?

I went out of my car and pressed the door bell.

A lady that is not familiar to me showed up in front of me.

Good afternoon. Am... I am Sam. Is Mon there?

Mon? There is no Mon living here.

How about Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong, can I see them?

Oh the Armstrongs you mean?

Yes. Mon is their daughter.

I see.. that poor girl.

Why what happened to Mon?

Oh, sorry but I am not allowed to say anything. What I can only tell you is that they are not living here. They sold this house and left. The lady excuse her self. But Sam spoke.

I am Mon's partner.

The lady turned to look at Sam.

She just stared at her then went inside without saying a word.

Sam was really confuse.

Whats with that stare.

Mon, are you not going to have your lunch?

Maybe later dad. I am still full.

But please eat something okay.

Okay. Mon replied

She is now sitting at the balcony and just listening to songs that is Sam's favorite.

She is just smiling while remembering her Sam.

She misses her. But this is the right thing to do. She will be much ok without me. She will be able to move on and be much successful in her craft.

I was hoping I can still see her. I still really love Sam. She is my life. But this is what I need to do. I did this for her.

I parked the car. I am waiting for someone to show up. I need to know what happened and why Mon just disappeared.

There, I saw the person I need to talk to.

Went out of the car and hurriedly went up to that person.

Yuki. I called her. She is Mon's bestfriend.

She was startled when she saw me.

Sam. Thats the only word she said. She was just looking at me straight to my eyes.

Then she turned and try to leave. I held her arms.

Yuki please. Please talk to me

I don't have anything to say to you. Better leave now Sam.

Yuki please. I need to know what happened to Mon.

Yuki faced her. Now in a serious look.

Why don't you ask your grandmother what happened to Mon.

Why? Yuki please. She is just staring at me seriously.

Then I heard a familiar voice calling Yuki

She was also surprised to see me.

Tee. I say to her.

What are you doing here? Tee said coldly

Tee, I need to know what happened to Mon. Please.
