Sam&Mon

Chapter 28

The operation took several hours. The bullet was successfully removed but the doctor is still monitoring Sam since the lungs  was affected by the shot. They also saw that the bullet hit some veins that is making Sam's condition critical.

Sam is now at the ICU. She needs to be monitored closely. The doctors are worried with Sam's condition. 

The doctor allowed Mon to see Sam. 

Mon could not stop crying while seeing her girlfriend in the ICU, with all the tube that is connected to her body.

Babe, it's me. I miss you already. Please wake up. Please fight. I know you are strong. I'm just here for you. Sorry if I am crying now. I know you don't like it when I cry, but I could not help it seeing you like this. But you are still so beautiful babe. We will fight this together, okay. I will do my best to be strong also, promise.

They are just outside babe. I am the only one who is allowed to see you at the moment.

Then Mon slowly hold Sam's hand. She also kissed Sam in the forehead. 

I really miss you baby. I love you so much.

Neung asked the chief doctor of the hospital, who happens to be her college school mate to transfer Sam in the presidential suite with the machine. Her friend made the necessary arrangements. 

Almost every hour the doctor is monitoring Sam. 

Suddenly a loud beep was heard. The nurse immediately came inside the room. She pulled the emergency plug on the bedside of Sam. after how many seconds the doctor came in also and started checking Sam. Her vitals is dropping. Another doctor came in. They are firing instructions to the nurses assisting them.

Sam's condition is not really okay. The doctor already informed them that Sam is not really stable as of the moment. The first 48 hours will really be crucial. We are checking all the possible complication she might have, the doctor is now talking to Mon, Neung, Song and Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong.

Mon is really afraid regarding Sam's condition. She is now at Sam's side. She have the favorite book of Sam and she is reading it to her.

it's been 3 weeks now, but still Sam's condition is not improving. 

The doctors who is attending to Sam is now talking with them.

Mon, Neung, Song and Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong.

As of today, Sam's condition is still the same. We could not see any improvement. She is only depending now on the medicines we give her and the machine that is helping her heart pump. We want to be honest with all of you. Today her heart rate went down for about a minute. It's not good. her vitals is like doing a roller coaster. 

What else can we do to improve her condition? Mon asked.

Honestly, right now, we don't have any other option but to closely monitor her.

Usually at this time, she's suppose to wake up already but we still can't see her going to that direction. 

She is strong. She is fighting. Mon said to the doctors.

We understand your side. But in the medical side this kind of condition is not really okay. Because what we are afraid of is that her heart will get tired already and will just stop beating.

No...No.. she is fighting.. I don't like where this is going now. I know she is fighting. My girlfriend is strong. She will fight for us. No please... No... Mon starts to tear again. She does not like to hear what the doctor wants to tell them.

Mon, Neung hug her. Song also comforted Mon. 

She will fight. I know. She will fight. That is what Mon is repeatedly saying.

Neung is also in tears because is she really afraid to lose her sister. Song on the other hand is really angry with their grandma. She will pay for this. I will make sure of that.

Grandma is now in the custody of the police. But since she has a royal blood she is being given a special treatment.

The doctor understood how Mon reacted.

Everynight Mon is at Sam's side. She will either read her a book or play her favorite songs. She also makes sure to hold Sam's hand and silently pray.

Mon also makes sure that she kisses Sam in the forehead and cheeks softly.

Even she is being told by everyone to go home first and take some rest. Mon refuses to leave the hospital. She wants to be there when Sam wakes up.
