I walked into the coldness of the night, my lips were still tingling.
I noticed my sister's car and walked over to it. Both Sandra and sis had fallen asleep while waiting for me. I knocked on the window to wake them up. Sis rubbed her eyes and unlocked the car door.
"Jeez y/n where have you been for so long?" she asked as I got into the car.
"I uh... I got lost in that building trying to find the way out."
Sis didn't seem to believe me as she scrunched her eyebrows.
"No, really that place is huge," I assured. "Look, I'm really tired, can we just go home?"
Sis nodded and we drove away.
When we got home there seemed to be a party going on. As we entered the house many people were dancing and drinking. The music was overwhelmingly loud.
I walked up the stairs into my room, locked the door and laid on my bed. All the events of this day were flying through my head. Suddenly the muffled party noise was interrupted by a knock. I opened the door and saw sis standing there with an envelope in her hand.
"Found this in the mailbox, it's for you," she said in a tired voice and left.
I got back into my bed and opened the envelope. Inside there was a small card that had something written on it.
