(??? Pov)
The dark sky started to brighten up... A boy was walking around the glade. He was taking time, feeling the grass on his feet.
Step by step through the cold grass. Frost on each blade of grass. The birds are chirping on trees. The boy is walking towards a wall. Infront of it his hand brushes along the wall. At one point he stops, he turned around, leans himself against the wall and slides down.
He looks tired. Maybe he had a hard night... He couldn't even hold his eyes open. They're are closing and he slowly drifts away. Some more sleep isn't going to harm him anyways.

A bit later...

The sky is finally shining in a bright blue and everyone else is awake. There were 3 boys sitting in in the middle of the glade and they were talking.

(Minhos Pov)
I am so annoyed. There's so much work we have to do today. Usually i would be in the maze right now but not today. I mean there is something, I think we runners are about to find something big. Yesterday we saw something. I'm not sure what it was but it looked big. It wasn't a griever... Something in me tickles my brain and i really need to know it. My eyes are analyzing the gate to the maze. "Minho?", Thomas pulled me out of my thoughts. "Hm?" "I know you really want to know what it is but we're really back with our work and need to have every help we can get today." He was right, but i couldn't srop thinking about it. Now that i looked at newt he was really paying attention either? "Newt?" No answer. So i shouted, "NEWT!"
"BLOODY HELL NO NEED TO SCREAM AT MEH!", he screamed back after he flinched. "What's going on with you?" "Just the new greenie... He's sitting there?" Now we all 3 looked at him. He was sitting. He was so far away. I'm not sure if hes awake or not. "I'm gonna check on him, we need his help too"... Thomas and me just gave him a supportive nod.

That boy arrived 2 days ago and yesterday he just completely disappeared. At first we all thought he ran into the maze but then Chuck found him in the woods. The boy looked scared and really confused. I mean it's really scary at first and i kinda unterstand him. In the evening of his first day i found him crying behind a tree. I tried to talk to him but he just was silent.

(Newts pov)
I walked towards the boy. He was asleep. I kneeled down, touched his shoulder and shook it a few times, then his eyes finally opened. I gave him some time to adjust to the light. I sat infront of him. "Are you okay?", I asked him. He nodded at me. " Have you caught enough sleep?" The boy nodded again but i clearly saw that he's still tired. I sat myself down next to him and watched as he slowly got fully awake. I'm still not sure what to do with him. We couldn't work him in yesterday because he wasn't around. "You know we would've have to work you in today right?... Well it's gonna be hard today so just stick to my side the whole day. I'm gonna show you as much as i can and I'll try to work you into some stuff."

"Okay", the boy said. That was the first time i heard him talk. It was just a voice but his voice sounds beautiful. We sat there for some minutes until he stood up. "Breakfast?", he asked. Oh right he missed breakfast. "Come we'll go to the kitchen a get you a sandwich" He smiled at me and waited for me to lead the way.

We got him a sandwich. After that I showed him some parts of the glade as he ate the sandwich. We stopped near the woods and found Gally, Thomas and Chuck there. "Hey, need help?" I asked them. Gally answered: "Yeah, i need a break" I took his axe and he walked away. Chuck handed his axe to the boy. He looked scared. " Let me show you how to do it. If you know how it works you won't hurt yourself. I promise" I showed him it and then signalised him to do it like me. He swung his axe and hit it just right.

"Yeah Greenie, see you did it!" He smiled at me and continued to hit the tree. We chopped of some trees and the we all rested on then tree trunks. "Oh Greenie, do you remember your name now?", Thomas asked. The greenie shook his head and said: "it's scary" Chuck looked at him and said "No worries we all went through it. Sometimes it takes a bit longer." Someone blows the horn. We all looked ar eachother. Thomas gave us a let's go look and we stood up.

We walked to the campfire. Everyone stood around it. All of us 4 joined them. Alby looked around and spoke to us "we can stop now. Thanks to all the hard work we have not just finished the work of yesterday but of today too." Words from everywhere. They all sounded reliefed. I looked to my left.
There i saw the boy, he was happy too. Suddenly something touched my right shoulder. it was Minho. He looked totally wrecked. "What happened to you mate?" "Work, work, work" He signalised me to follow him. I took the greenie at his wrist and pulled him with us. We went to a quiet place far away from all the loud noises and sat down. The grass was cold but it was comfortable. "Are you okay?", Minho asked the boy. "I guess" his answer made me think about him. Minho asked more:"you guess or you know?" "Guess" I stayed quiet and looked always between them both. The boy was lost in his thoughts and Minho was just analysing him.

(Your POV)
Minho asked me how i felt. I can't describe how i feel... I don't know my name. I don't know what i look like and how old i am. The voice i hear sounds young. But i don't know how old i could be 28 or 17 or 14. I'm scared. This whole thing scares me. Who did this all? Why did they do this? I just wanna know my name. Everything in me was looking for my name. I feel like I'm about to cry. Who am i? What's my name? WHAT IS MY FUCKING NAME!? i couldn't hold it anymore. I stood up and ran. As far as i could. My eyes were tearing up. I heard Newt and Minho scream after me. But I was already in the woods and i didn't look where i was running to. Then everything went black.

(Minho Pov)
The Greenie suddenly stood up and ran away. Into the woods. Newt directly stood up too and ran after him. So did i. At least I'm able to run a bit today. We ran and ran after him. Normally I'm faster then Newt but today i couldn't catch up. I heard Newt scream my name. I gave everything i could. When i found Newt he sat next to the greenie that was passed out on the floor. He a blood on his head. "Does he have a pulse." Newt nodded. "Place his head on your lap!" He did so and i took out my little steel water bottle and splashed some water on his face. He flinched and opened his eyes. "Are you okay?", I asked him. He looked confused. "I REMEMBER!" "What?" "I REMEMBER MY NAME". I laughed and said: "you just ran against a tree and passed out. AND THE FIRST THING YOU SAY IS THAT YOU REMEMBER YOUR BLOODY NAME." He smiled at me "I'm y/n"

"Hi y/n, I'm Minho and that is Newt", i said and we all laughed. Newt checked the wound on y/ns head, "Does anything hurt?" "Just there", y/n pointed to his wound. "You're bleeding there but not that bad to be honest" The greenie stood up: "Can we head back?" "Yeah"

Back at the campfire

(Newts Pov)
Y/n, what a beautiful name he has. I looked at him. We sat a bit away from the others. Minho left to talk to Thomas and Chuck. So now Y/n and me were alone. "I wish I would remember what I was like before i came up here.", Y/n broke the silence. "I think all of us want to know and it's still upsetting for all of us. In each one of us is a bit of hope that one day we'll start to remember. When i first came here I couldn't remember my name for a week. At one point i thought I had to make up a name. But one day Alby and me bumped into eachother and i hit my had on one the bars of the building over there." The greenie looked at me and laughed. "Well i'm happy you knew at one point because Newt sounds really cool" I smiled. "I think it's time for me to go to bed now. I have to catch a lot of sleep.", Y/n said. "Yeah, you're right... Good night. Sleep well"
He looked at me and said:" you too, it was nice to talk to you today and i'm looking forward to see you tomorrow Newt" Then he left.

I knew that i didnt just find a new friend today.
