"Come on then." He says. I look up to see them both walking out of the library. I follow behind. We walk back towards the stairs and then past that. We continue down the next hallway and then take a left.

We are now at two big, red doors. The scary looking guy pushes one open to reveal a room full of other kids.

We walk in, and maneuver around several people before getting to a table with two other guys. One of them is that nice guy I bumped into..twice now.

I really need to pay attention to were I'm walking..

"Hey. Brought someone along." I hear the scary guy say. The two at the table look over at me. "You again!" The nice guy says.

I should really learn their names..

I nod slightly. "Here, come sit." The other guy, that was really frickin' tall, taller than the others, said. I walk over towards him and sit. I keep my gaze to the table.

"Whats your name? I'm getting tired of calling you, you." I look up to see the nice guy smiling. "I-its Delta.." I say, just loud enough for them to hear. My hair covers my eyes a lot of the time, but I actually don't mind it. Gives me something to hide behind.

"I'm Nathan. That tall scary guy you're sitting next to, that's Shawn." Nathan says. I look over to Shawn to see him smirking at Nathan. "I'm not that scary." He says. "Well, to a kid that's like three heads shorter than you are, yes. Yes you are." Nathan states smiling.

"Anyway. That other scary one right there," Nathan says and points over to the one I've been calling scary guy. "That's Aiden. And the one next to him, is Luca." He finishes.

I look over to them. Luca looks over to me with a soft smile, while Aiden smirks. "I won't deny being called scary." He says. I laugh softly. He looks over to me, meeting my gaze.

His smirk grows. "Whats so funny shorty." He asks. I shake my head, still softly laughing.

"Probably thinking you're a dumbass." Shawn says with a chuckle. Aiden rolls his eyes. They're interrupted by Lana walking over. "U-um..hello?" She says nervously to the four guys around me. Their gazes go to her.

"U-uh. Delta..can I steal you for a moment? Mr. Foster gave me something to give you." She says still nervous.

I stand up. "U-uh bye." I say just above a whisper and then turn and walk away with Lana. Once we get out of the cafeteria and into the hallway she turns to me. "Have you lost your mind?" She asks. I met her gaze. "What..?" I ask confused.

She sighs. "Those guys were Shawn, Aiden, Luca and Nathan! The most popular guys in this town!" She says.

Wait..really? Then why would they talk to me..? And let me sit with them..?

"R-really?" I ask. "Yes! How did you end up with them?" She asks. "U-uh..I got lost and ended up in the library..Aiden and Luca helped me get to the cafeteria and then t-they jut let me s-sit with t-them." I say. She groans. "Lucky!" She calls.

I won't deny that they're all pretty hot..but I didn't think they'd be that popular—I mean yeah maybe a little but not in the whole town..

I was going to say something but the bell rings, interrupting me. Me and Lana walk down a hallway and into class. Luckily the rest of my classes are on the first floor. We walk into the Biography class and find random seats.

After fifth and sixth period, I head to my last class, art. The one I've been waiting for. I walk in and find a random seat. After everyone gets here, class starts.

"Okay everyone. We have a new student today, please stand." The teacher says.

I do. "U-uh. I'm Delta G-Grey." I stutter. Some of the other students laugh, others mimic my stutter. I look down, embarrassed. "Stop that now, or you will be sent to detention." She says. "Very nice to meet you Delta. I'm Mrs. Grace." Mrs. Grace greets. I nod. I sit down with my head low.

Someone's always done that..mimic me..my stutter I mean. And it seems this schools no different. I sit there until we are told a theme to paint. Class flys even faster since I'm painting.

The bell rings, dismissing the entire school.  I get up and walk out, only to have students walking down the hall with me, start mimicking me again. I keep my head down.

Why couldn't they have been different..?

I feel tears brimming my eyes. I finally have enough and take off running. I hear laughing behind me. I keep running, and speed around a corner, only to bump into someone again.

I land on the floor. "S-sorry!" I say, keeping my head down. "Delta..?" I hear a familiar voice. I look up to see Shawn. His eyes immediately widen as I feel tears go down my face.

I look back down and wipe my face. "What happened?" I hear him ask, closer than before. I look up a little to see him bending down in front of me. I met his gaze.

I shake my head as I look back down. "Doesn't m-matter." I whisper. "Delta..if it made you cry then it does matter. Did someone hurt you?" He asks. I keep my head down not moving for a second before shaking my head lightly.

I stand up and he does to. "I-I'm fine..t-thanks." I say. He stays quiet. "Here." I hear him say. He hands me a small piece of paper. "See ya tomorrow." He says. Before I can respond, he walks away.

I finally find my way out to the parking lot after wandering around for awhile. Once I made it out there I waited for a few minutes before my mom pulled up in the Jeep.

I open the door and get in. "Hey sweetie. How was your first day?" She asks. I smile and look at her. "It was good." I say quietly. She narrows her eyes.

"Really." She says more than she asks. I nod, still holding the smile. She parks the car and gets out. I follow suit. "M-mom where are you going?" I ask. "The office." She starts heading there. I quickly grab her arm. "Why?" I ask with furrowed brows.

"Because there's something up and I don't like it." She says. "Mom. It's fine, I promise." I say. She looks at me with narrowed eyes again. "Please, mom. Let's just go." I pleaded. She sighs.

We walk back to the car and get in. We buckle up and drive out of the parking lot and down the road to get home.
