In this world, when young Percy Jackson started attracting monsters at the age of twelve, his mother, Sally wasn't ready to let him go yet. She and Percy move out of the country, beginning a new life in Japan. More specifically, in the district of Aoyama Itchome, where eventually Percy attended his first year of high school at Shujin Academy, and what an eventful first year it was. Percy had always been an outcast, so on his first day, he made friends with the schools outcasts, Ryuji Sakamoto and Akira Kurusu. From there, Percy eventually got pulled into the metaverse and joined the Phantom Thieves, helping them change hearts and stop the false god Yaldabaoth. As he began his second year there, he was turning sixteen and his mom knew he would have to return to America and go to camp half blood. But before he returned he would spend the summer with his friends that ended up becoming a cross country road trip to stop a new metaverse threat. When Percy finally returned home to America, he noticed something odd. He could transform into his Phantom thief attire in the real world and could access the metaverse again. At first he panicked, thinking Yaldabaoth was back but upon investigating he found that a source of mystical power called the flame of the west was sustaining the metaverse in America and the metaverse can't effect anyone outside the states. With this knowledge in mind, Percy began changing peoples hearts, just only the smaller stuff. He wasn't going to take on a palace by himself. Eventually he was attacked by a fury and went to camp half-blood, where he began using his persona to kill monsters. After his first quest he kept in touch with Annabeth and brought her to the metaverse where she awakened her own Persona, and from there, the two began to make a new branch of the Phantom thieves. During the quest of the titans curse, the thieves ended up saving Bianca and Zoe, changing fate, as all good persona users do. During the Summer of the war against Kronos, the japan thieves ended up visiting and helped in the fight. In the end, the new thieves continued there work, protecting people from monsters, whether they be mythological or human.
