Hana had told herself not to check on the note for a good while so she wouldn't get disappointed when the mystery person doesn't reply as she's really not expecting much, but despite all that time spent trying to convince herself not to, after only a couple days, she's walking into the library to check on the book
she first walks into the fiction aisle to see if the book was still there or not
she looks for the book on the shelf but its not there
now there were two options, either someone has taken it out, or it's been left with Suzan, by J
"hello suzan" she smiles as she tiptoes to the front desk
"oh hi dear" the old woman smiles at the girl who often showed up at the library
"by any chance did anyone leave a book under the name dua lipa?"she says snorting at the last part
"oh i have one book, you can see if it is the one your looking for"
as soon as she pulls out a copy of the book thief a huge smile graces Hana's face
she sees the sticky note with 'dua lipa' written on the front and smiles even more
"do you know the boy?"
"the boy?"she says surprised not knowing it was a boy who had replied to her
"yes, a very lovely young man left it here the other day"
"well... not really" she says "it's complicated"
"alright then, here's the book anyways" Suzan says handing her the book
"thank you" she smiles again as she walks off
