Back To Myla's Pov

For the first time, my flight wasn't early in the morning. I got to sleep in a bit. A bit is a strong word. Which I needed after the hectic week I've had. Catherine was right. Waking up early Monday to Sunday, not ending until I closed shop.

I had to drive myself to the airport in the city. I didn't mind driving up, but I minded leaving my car in the city. My dad would usually drive me up but since my flight was late he couldn't take me due to work. So I asked Elliot and his brother to pick up my car. Elliot and Grey were in the city picking up groceries so they were killing two birds with one stone. I'll let drive El drive my car. Even though he didn't have his licence, thankfully Grey promised he'd tailgate the shit out of Elliot to make sure he returns my car safely.

From Myla:

Hey, I'm gonna shove my starter and fob in the gas cap. You good with that?

From Elliot:

Yup! Don't worry abt it! She'll be parked in your driveway when you come home!

From Myla:

It better be. In one piece!

From Elliot:

Nah, I'll drive it like I stole it ;)

From Myla:

Ffs El...

He would drive it like he stole it if I let him. Grey was the voice of reason, so I hope he keeps El in check. I did as I texted Elliot before I went into the airport. I pulled off the keys on the ring, stuffing the keys into my gas cap watching for people. Not a soul in sight. It was strange, to say the least. Usually, the parking lot would be jammed back, but, I'm usually here in the mornings. I said my goodbyes to my car wheeling my luggage into the main doors. I shuffled through my tote bag for my tickets. I made it to the main front desk handing my tickets to the worker at the desk. She ushered me over to security. Going through customs some much as I have now lessened the stress load of the gold badge.

"What is the purpose of your trip?" I thought the whole reason Catherine got me a private jet was so I wouldn't have to go through this?

"I'm seeing my girlfriend in Cardiff, Wales."

"Is she a Welsh citizen?"

"Yes."

"Are you staying with your girlfriend? How long will you be staying if so?"

"Yes, I'm staying in her home. Today is Monday correct? So I'll be there until next Monday. A full week."

"Fine. What do you do for work? I've seen here in you're flight history you have flown to Miami, New York and now to Wales in the past three months. How are you affording these trips?"

"I-I work in a bookstore. I saved money for my trip to Miami, but my girlfriend paid for New York and this trip to Wales."

"Very well, anything to declare? Fruits, veggies, meat, tobacco?"

"I have a vape and a few extra pod packages."

"How many to be exact?"

"Three."

"Okay." The officer was wary. He kept looking back and forth in my direction. It was strange. Customs in New York weren't this thorough. He dumped my belongings from my tote bag on the metal table with gloves on. He sectioned off my vape and the pods in a section. My phone and sunglasses are in a corner also. "Please unlock your phone." He swooped up my phone in his hand pointing the screen to me. "May I ask why?"
