Hey guys! Thank you so much for your support of this story! I've loved every minute trying to post these chapters as soon as possible ❤️
My eyes widened from my deep peaceful sleep. I have never slept this good in a long time. I felt the same way when we first slept together in New York. The love we make is rough, hot and sensual. After, it's like a switch click and we both turn into soft like little kittens. Constantly in need to have at least one body part touching each other. It didn't come to me naturally, but for Catherine, it was very uncharacteristic for her to become this way.
Whenever I'm with Catherine, the smell in the room is the same. A smoky vanilla. It's strong. I lay on my left side allowing my eyes to adjust to the sunshine. I was cool under these white cotton sheets, with the weight over my throat. My neck turned slightly to see if the weight was a throw pillow or if my arm went numb over the top of my head. No, unsurprisingly, it was Catherine's arm lumped wrapped around my neck. I fully rolled onto my back observing Cat's sleeping body to make sure she didn't wake up. My chin dug into the bend of her arm breathing in the smell of vanilla tobacco surrounding us. I held her elbow into my hand cuddling her limp arm. Mid-snooze, Catherine's body stirred as she set her head onto my shoulder, her knee snaked up under the cotton sheets across my hip. Little dribbles of drool marked her pillow as it would the same on my shoulder. It was cute. To see my strong force of a woman, someone I love and in the same breath intimated by, being vulnerable like this. Her weight wasn't suffocating, it was in a sense like she wasn't there while I still felt her heartbeat. I wanted to stay in bed with Catherine all day. I tried to fall back asleep, it would be easier if the sun wouldn't hit me directly in the eyes. I couldn't help to roll over hiding my face in Cat's bare chest. Her chest inhaled a huff as I buried myself deep.
"Mm-...are we cuddling or are you trying to jump into my skin?" Catherine's eye fluttered open keeping the other closed. A little yawn escaped her lips as she moved her hair from under her back onto her pillow. I yawned in return. "I'm sorry, I wanted to go back to sleep, but the sun was too bright."
"Hmph...damn. I swore I thought I closed that curtain last night, no matter. You slept well annwyl?" She groaned wrapping her arms around my back. Catherine's little half-smirk appeared as she adjusted her head back to her pillow away from my shoulder. "Oh for sure Cat. I tend to sleep better when I'm with you."
"Oh, really now My-My?"
"Yes, you make me feel safe." My fingers clenched awakening my joints stretching out in front of my face. My fingertips grazed the warmth of her cheek. She was delicate and smooth as my finger glided to her jawbone. I continued to stroke her jaw. Her smile crept through, her blushed cheeks raised showing off her teeth. "Annwyl...I'm delighted you're safe. That's all that matters. I love you Myla."
"I love you too Cath." I copied her smile shuffling my body close to hers. Catherine's eyes broke eye contact dropping her pupils down to my legs. Like I previously said I love Catherine however, her intimated gaze changed every mood. Even though I never seen her angry, I pray I never will. Her body lunged over bucking down on my lap. Her hands latched onto either side of my shoulders. Her hair hung around her face grazing my forehead. The sun was blocked by her arm and strands of her hair.
"What shall we do today my love? I want to get out of this house." Her arms moved down holding herself up by her elbows. "Movie Theatre? Book store? Museum? Or-..." Catherine's cheeky smile crept as her eyes darted to the window. Her walnut eyes gleamed from the sun's rays. "Or what Cat?" I didn't realize how small my fingers were compared to hers. It wasn't shocking, but I haven't noticed it since then. My hands reached out to push her hair away to see her face.
"I wanna take you somewhere special today My. Are you up for it?" She sat up straightening her back. Her messy ebony hair flew behind her back. She let out a little yawn from the corner of her mouth trying to cover it up. "Anything with you will be fun." I nodded as I repeated her yawn back. Catherine's body left mine crawling off the bed. She bent down to retrieve her robe covering her bare body. "Come darling, I have something for you." Was this what Bowen said last night? He did say she wanted to shower with me gifts. I'm picturing something grandiose. She'd open a random door and there lord and behold would be a mountain of gifts awaiting me. I got up out of her warm bed to the frozen floor. I crouched down to grab my hoodie and my underwear off the floor. I followed behind Catherine as she trotted over to a door beside her vanity. She turned the knob opening the door. It was a walk-in closet. Catherine stood next to the door motioning me to enter first. I followed suit to enter. Her closet was the size of my room. There sat on a curved chaise in the middle of the closet, where a few gift bags sat. A fairly large cream-coloured box sat with a marigold bow wrapped around it. Catherine crept behind me, her hands laid on my shoulders to caress me. "This is too much Cat." I was gravitating toward the cream box, which more larger than the other three gift bags. "Go on annwyl. They're all for you." Her arms rubbed my shoulders pushing me closer to the couch. "Pfft...fine."
