Authors note: Hi hi, Tawriie here :) sorry for the long break! I'm planning on rewriting the first book in my own time along with reworking my first guardian daemon book, possibly this book too. Been going through a rough writing block and burnout lately due to mental and physical health, so I hope this will satisfy :)
"Pour l'amour de Dieu, pull your own body weight, will you?" Amadis grunted, pulling up the drowsy clown as he fought sleep from the strong painkillers. Calamity sent him an incredibly offended looked that said, 'I'm trying, maybe if you weren't so lazy!'
"Shut the fuck up, cazzo. I told you to not fucking call them!" Calamity shoved himself away from Amadis, not before tripping over his boots and being caught by the Frenchman who was equally as miffed about the situation.
"You shut the fuck up! I wasn't gonna let you bleed out, tu m'emmerdes!"
"Oh, so now you're putting it on me? I atleast have respect for their final wishes and privacy! You violated that, and I'm supposed to be lo stronzo!"
(I can't believe you, you hypocrite!) "Je ne peux pas te croire, espèce d'hypocrite!"
An elderly Korean woman shot them a weird look and pulled her grandchild behind her, and even Calamity gasped at his outburst.
"S-sorry." Amadis quickly gave a sloppy bow with poor Korean and glared at Giovanni. He scowled in response as they approached an AirBnB that Ryūjin booked for them before they left to their dorm. To Amadis, it was unnecessary, but to Calamity he felt guilty. He meant what he said to Amadis. Even if he meant no harm, Calamity had atleast heard the story partially from Maka Yuri, and how tormented they seemed when she visited them at that very church with Kanjiro.
It was small, cozy and simple for a short stay between the two. A decent view, fully stocked fridge and a small coffee machine stood on the counter top with instant coffee sachets sticking out of a miscellaneous cup that looked to made at an intermediate pottery class.

Giovanni pushed his way past Amadis through the door, crashing onto the dining chair with a pained groan. Amadis only sighed at his stubbornness, frowning as Calamity bit his cheek to hold back the grunts of pain.
"I don't want to look at you, you fucking cazzone."
A couple moments passed and Amadis handed him a hot cup of instant coffee as an apology.
"Désolé, mon ami." Giovanni remained quiet at his apology for a couple seconds before accepting the cup, sipping it quietly as he groaned from the pain in his side. And because of the awful taste of the cheap coffee.
"...Grazie, Amadis." He, surprisingly, quietly watched the albino man sit on the sofa, take out a burner phone and look at the phone number on the business card that Ryū gave him.
"How's your mère, hm? Still working in that bakery?" Amadis spoke up, deciding to wait on calling the number until Calamity at the very least got some rest.
