[Continued, Short Chapter Ahead!]
"Don't do anything, he says..." Ryūjin muttered under their breath, slowly standing up and making their way to the kitchen to pour a glass of water. Their hands lingered on the white ceramic cup, seemingly stuck in their thoughts.
'Why is he clinging to me?' They shook their head to rid of the thought and sipped on the water, holding it in between their cheeks before swallowing it.
Ryū's bare feet searched through the apartment before landed back to the crème sofa, pulling a thin blanket over their legs as they pulled a laptop onto their lap. They pulled up a program, and loaded up a file called 'PROJECT.989'. Several waveforms and layers of music appeared in the program. They shifted a couple sections around, searching through plugins in their search bar.
They had taken interest in music production when one of their teachers in their online class suggested it, since they decided to get a diploma for dance and theatre in their down time. At first, they weren't that intrigued by the idea until a classmate showed them a sample on campus and then, the idea of creating unique music especially for dancing made them feeling excitement that they hadn't felt in a while.
Their feet moved on the ground as they danced to the rhythm of the music, tapping their fingers as they listened through their headphones, making notes on a piece of paper on what to improve and what to add.
The chime of their doorbell rang out, prompting them out of their intense focus and lightly sprinted to the camera in the hallway, before pressing the unlock button seeing that it was Jaebeom.
"Daddy!" Tetsurou's voice shouted in the doorway in excitement, making Ryū smile just hearing him again. It was only a few hours, yet they miss him like they haven't seen him for years. They kneeled down and let him run into their arms, laughing as he let out squeals of excitement being lifted up so high, patter his back as they twirled around to the living room.
"Thank you, Jaebeom-ah." Ryūjin turned to him with a sincere expression, bowing their head deeply, making Jaebeom panicked and he bowed down in response.
"Seonbae! It was really nothing-"
"Ryūjin is fine, Jaebeom."
He blinked, processing their words before nodding.
"Okay, hyung."
"Aish, are you kidding? You're so stubborn, I can't stand you."
