highschool sweethearts

the two lovers, they were inseparable. nothing could tear them apart, and they practically do everything together.

this all started when the pair wasnt paying attention, and ran into each other, at the high school football game, how cliche.

george was a cheerleader, and dream was a football player. the two were perfect for each other, however, some people doubted the fact they would even make it past high school as most relationships dont, but they proved them wrong.

they were quite literally soulmates, and at age 26 and 24, they were still as close as they day they met, and nothing would change that. they weren't just boyfriends, they were best friends, and thats what makes the perfect couple.

however, something could change their relationship status, but dream has yet to ask the question, but today is the day.

dream and his best friend, sapnap, have been planning this for months, sapnaps boyfriend, karl is also helping them out.

karl will be taking george out for lunch, the two of them will eat and then the plan will be in action. the taller will announce that he wants to take the shorter somewhere, and that its a surprise, then that will lead to the lake.

the lake, which is where dream asked george to be his boyfriend there, all those years ago, he had also taken him there multiple times before, and it became their spot, so its only right to do it there.

it's safe to say that the blond was nervous, even if he is sure the answer will be yes, he can never be too sure.

what if george isnt ready for this?

was his main fear, they have mentioned the idea quite a few times but what if the feelings changed? we'll see sooner or later.

  

   karl and george had their lunch at a endearing cafe, and now it was time.

   the taller led the two to his car and began the sightly long, dusty track to the lake, and shortly enough they had made it.

   george recognized the path and was sceptical, yet he had absolutely no idea what was to come.

   they both exited the car, then began to sauntered to the lake, no words needed to be shared as there was a comfortable silence that fled between the pair.

   as they were walking, a twig snap, then a laugh, followed by a 'shut up!', was heard, karls eyes widened, and george looked around in retaliation.

   "what was that?" karl laughed yet continuing to walk with the other, still trying to keep up the act, as he didnt want to ruin the plan that they all worked so hard on

   as george was going to respond he noticed his boyfriend standing by the lake, looking rather stunning per usual.

   now, what the fuck?

   "dream? why are you here?" a smile curling on his face, before he even knew from being in the presence with the one he loves.

   "george, im not sure how to do this, but here we go," he took a deep breath, and george panicked for a moment, surly its nothing bad, right?

   dream looked george into his eyes, and softly held his hands in his grasp,

   "when i see you, i see the best possible version of me. i see me and you, i see a happy family and i see love all around. i have became the best version of myself all thanks to you. you have always pushed me into achieving great things in my life and i will continue to do so with you by my side. with you george, i want to build a future and i want to achieve it with you." dream paused, retracted his hands from the others, and got on his knee, "george davidson, will you marry me?"

   not even a millisecond after he asked, a beautiful voice shouted many different versions of 'yes.'

   the blond immediately took george into his grasp and span him around.

   "i love you so much dream, you mean everything and more to me, i would be so honoured to spend the rest of my life next to you."

   "always and forever."
