insouciant - free from worry and anxiety

   the blond looked at his boyfriend with a delicate smile, there was this word that reminded him of his lover. once he saw it, he couldn't let it go. how could one word truly mean so much?

   george kept him free from worry, george kept him free from anxiety.

   the brunet made him feel free, as if he had nothing to worry about. he didn't have to pretend to be someone he's not when he's with his boyfriend. he can be himself.

   george reminded him that he would never truly judge him for anything, despite not verbally speaking it.

   his mind would go blank around around him, and he didn't have to work to build it up. with the soft smile that george would flash him, he knew he everything would be okay.

   "george," dream practically whined, wanting his attention. he missed his boyfriend.

   george turned his head over to his boyfriend, a book stuck in his hands, "whats up love?"

   "come here please," the taller said as he opened his arms.

   george's smile widened before crawling into dream's arms, immediately melting into his soft grasp.

   "i missed you, angel." dream mumbled softly, wrapping his arms around the smallers slim waist.

   "i guess i missed you too," george giggled.

   after a few minutes of silence dream spoke up, "hey, george?" making george hum in response.

   "i seen this word, and it reminded me of you."

   this made george sit up, "really? what word?"

   "insouciant, it means free from worry and anxiety." dream informed him, watching the way a smile formed onto his face.

   "seriously? you mean that?" he questioned.

   "yes, george. you keep me free from worry and anxiety."
