dream groaned in annoyance as his fiancé aggressively shook him awake, practically yelling in his ear. sitting up and rubbing his eyes to try to mask how tired he really was.

"ethan, relax im waking up." the blond muttered out as ethan was still on a rampage about how lazy he is for even daring to sleep in.

ethan looked offended, "me? relax? who the fuck do you think you're talking to clay, stop being so fucking lazy all the time and help out around the house!"

dream sighed, pinching his eyebrows, "we're in a hotel, quit yelling." annoyance filling his tone.

"just because we're in a hotel doesn't mean you cant help out around here!"

dream averted his eyes from ethan, looking down at the ground to attempt to compose himself, "yes, i understand, but you know im busy."

"whatever," sighed ethan, as he walked out of the room and slammed the door closed, aggravated.

you see, dream knew he deserved better than this, but there was a certain someone that he just couldn't seem to ever get back. they were once high school lovers, they helped each other through everything, until the boy needed to move away. they quickly got used to the routine of calling for as long as possible, and long distance in general. but soon calls started to go unanswered, daily texts tuned into weekly texts, to montly, to nothing.

dream missed him, but understood why. the boy had gotten accepted into a modelling agency, and didn't have much free time.

he wouldn't lie, he felt angry sometimes. wishing that they could've figured it out and maintain a relationship.

technically, they never even broke up. that thought always tended to linger around his mind longer than it should've, he has a fiancé for heavens sake.

ethan proposed about five months after they started dating, making it around a year now.

four years since he has seen him.

dream had switched his career from football to photography, wanting to catch the beauty of life before it was too late.

the blond had a trial with a model today, his nerves going through the roof, his anxiety was crazy.

dream decided against bidding ethan a goodbye, knowing that he will regret it when he gets back home, as he shut the door and went out of the rather fancy hotel that the agency had reserved him for the time being.

dream took a uber to the agency, getting there in about ten minuets. he did the procedure and was told to to an office, the one where someone would asign him a model that he was going to work with.

he knocked on the door and heard a raspy, "come in," so he opened the door and noticed a man in around his fifties sitting before him in a desk.

"hello you must be clay, correct?" the man asked, raising his eyebrows.

"yes, that's me." he replied with.

"great! well, clay, i have taken a look at your work and i must say, im quite impressed with the beautiful photos you've taken."

dream smiled, "thank you, i appreciate it." his heart only churning a little as he only liked hearing his real name from a certain someone, that didn't happen to be his fiancé.

"that's why i have set you up with one of, if not, our top model, i hope you won't let me down."

the green eyed boy nodded, "thank you for this opportunity, i won't let you down."
