Oh Brother~

Chapter Four: A shocking truth!

"H-he's my....brother?! How?!" He shouted and the child whimpered softly and jumped as he wet his diaper and Truffle took him to the other room to change him so they there two could talk causing the child to cry and reach for Almond who wasn't paying attention.

"I really don't know how but he's your brother and we can't figure how who his mother is unless your-" "my mother died a long time ago and don't put her into this!" Almond snapped and Milk looked shocked at his sudden outburst and he looked down and sighed softly.

"Sorry I'm just a little touchy when someone talks about my mother since I'm very sensitive to hear negative things about her" Almond apologized and Milk smiled and nodded his head in understanding the whole thing and handed Almond something as well too.

"This is also his weight and has a bit of a bladder infection and...we sadly also found drugs in his system" Milk said with a sad frown as Almond paled "my Gods they used him like a lab rat for drugs?!" Almond shouted and he was disgusted by that and took a breather.

"Why? Why would they do that to a innocent two year old?" He asked and Milk shrugged and looked sad and felt bad as Almond sighed softly and looked very upset about this whole thing and was so mixed up with a lot of emotions and a little protective of the Doughling.

"I swear my dad is so dead when I find him and talk to him about this" Almond mumbled softly and Milk touched his shoulder and looked very worried about this "I understand that you're upset but you need to take a few minutes to cool down before you do something drastic."

This made Almond look at him and sigh and sat down and covered his eyes and lean his head back with a groan "how are you always so calm?" He asked and he heard Milk chuckle softly and shake his head and sat right next to him and patted his back gently sympatheticlly.

"I'm not always that way especially with my four year old daughter Strawberry Cream" he whispered softly and Almond looked at him surprised to hear that and he started to laugh and Milk laughed too and they both felt a lot better about this whole thing and Truffle walked back in.

"I'm so sorry for this but he's so stressed and overwhelmed and wanted you" she said with a sigh and the child reached for Almond and cried softly until Almond smiled softly and gently took him and was glad he was starting to trust him with a without a problem.

"It's ok I got him" Almond said and he took him and saw him struggle to cling onto him due to the mittens on his hands and whined as Almond smiled and wrapped him up in his Commissioner coat and saw him press the side of his head on his chest gently.

"There, there it's ok, you're safe now~" Almond whispered gently and he saw him yawn and watched his eyes slowly closed and he fell asleep with a calm expression on his face and Truffle and Milk awed at the sight before them and suddenly realized something important.

"Oh! He needs a name!" Truffle exclaimed and she rushed to get a birth certificate and she saw Almond pull out a tiny foot and removed the bootie and they stamped his foot on it and carefully and gently waded his foot off making him whine and Almond soothed him.

Then they put the bootie back on and Almond put his foot back in the coat and watched Truffle write his size and weigh on the certificate and looked at Almond "what's your father's full name?" she asked shyly and Almond sighed softly and looked a little upset.

"Hickory Nut Cookie" he said with a frown and she nodded and wrote 'unknown mother' for the slot for his mother's name and smiled at Almond as she had one more question to ask him as she was excited about this whole part and Almond knew what it was as well.

This was the time to chose a name for the child and he thought about what to name this child and he wanted a nut related name to add to the family and it was gonna be interesting since he had a few choices and some weren't that good but then he smiled as he got a great one.

"I got a great name idea" he said with a smile and Truffle squealed softly as she got excited about this whole thing as Milk got excited about this whole thing and wanted to know what his name would be as they waited for Almond to say his full name to them as well too.

"What is it Almond?" Milk asked as he saw the child yawn and snuggle closer to Almond who smiled as he felt his heart start to swell in happiness and love for his newly long-lost brother and looked at them both with a warm smile on his face and looked calm as well too.

"His name is Hazelnut Macadamia Nut Cookie" Almond whispered and he kissed the two year old's head as he yawned and looked very tired and drained from this whole crime and the biggest news that would change his life and his very big family's lives as well.

"Awww that's a perfect name for him" Milk said with a smile and Truffle handed him the birth certificate and Almond went back to Pecan and explained everything to her and she was shocked when she heard the whole thing and her eyes welled up in tears.

"We will definitely have to be gentle and patient with him" she whispered softly and wiped her tears away and Almond nodded and they went to the car and Almond prayed for no vomit on his coat again and looked very worried about this and got in the car very carefully.

"I hope the kids and Rougefort aren't awake and we can put Hazelnut to bed without any problems at all" Almond whispered and he saw the child whimpered softly and looked very upset and scared about being in the car and Almond shushed him and soothed him.

"It's ok just breathe~" Almond whispered and he saw him breathe heavily and whimper as he calmed down a little bit and curl up in a tight small ball as he cried softly and looked very upset about this whole thing and as Pecan drove very slowly for Hazelnut.

And soon they got home and saw that the lights were off and it was quiet meaning everyone was asleep and the two adults smiled and walked in and into the bedroom and Almond put Hazelnut on the bed causing the two year old start to fuss and whimper.

"Shh shh shh no crying Hazel" Almond whispered and he quickly changed into his pj's and picked him up and held him close making him calm down and he layed down holding him close "night Hazel" he said and he kissed his head and went to sleep unaware what will happen that morning.
