Oh Brother~

Chapter Six: In the office

After breakfast Almond got the old diaper bag ready and saw Hazelnut bitting his mittens and growling in a strange way as he pulled and fell onto him back on the bed and tear up and start to kick and cry feeling stressed out about this as Almond laughed at that.

"It's ok I got it" Almond said and he smiled and pulled them off and saw he was only in a diaper and he wasn't sure it was a good idea to be only in that since his scars where something he might not like anyone seeing and Almond thought for a quick moment.

He suddenly got an idea of what to do with this and went to his closet and went to a old box he had been hiding and smiled at the sight before him and pulled out a baggy old red hoodie that he had before he was kicked out of his house by his father and twin brother.

He was only sixteen when he was kicked out and he thankfully packed up some old clothes he loved and his beloved plush cat Mr. Whiskers and a few other stuff that was valuable to him and he went to Cronut's house and was welcomed to stay as long as he wanted.

This was always something Almond felt grateful for and he buckled Hazelnut into the car seat he had in his car and drive to the M.E.H Department and saw Hazelnut yawn and fall asleep with a calm expression on his face as Almond remembered the kids would do this too.

"So much like my kids" he whispered softly and he felt his heart start to swell in happiness and content as he soon reached the office and got out and unbuckled Hazelnut and picked him up as he yawned and rubbed his eyes and whine in a odd and very strange way.

"It's ok shhh shhh~" Almond whispered and he walked in the building and into the office and it was loud and drawers and metal filing cabinets were being opened slammed shut and it startled Hazelnut awake and he looked around with wide eyes as his heart speeded up.

"Gave me the needle!" "Yes sir!" "Shut up! Gods just shut up!" "Sir it's heart rate is dropping rabidly!" "Get me the whip to this thing up!" All those voices were swirling in his head as he shook hard and was having a very severe panic attack as Almond looked very worried.

"Hazelnut? Hazelnut! What's wrong kiddo?!" He shouted and he started to panic as Hazelnut began to feel very heavy and his grip felt...claw-like?! What was happening with his recently found baby brother who he started to care for with all his entire heart as well.

"Almond what's going on?!" Cronut said with a worried and scared expression on his face and Almond shook and mouthed "I'll talk to you guys about this whole thing later ok?!' And this made Cronut nod as he watched Almond run to his office and shut the door quickly.

"It's ok Hazelnut it's ok, shhh shhh shhh" Almond whispered gently and he rubbed his back softly as he felt the claws he thought he felt disappear and Hazelnut very slowly calm back down and he felt damp and warm and he realized he had made it messy as well.

"Oh Hazelnut~" Almond whispered and he went to his couch and put the diaper bag down and put a blanket on the couch and layed Hazelnut down on it as he whimpered softly and looked very upset about this situation cause he wanted to be held by Almond right now.

"Shhhh it's ok I'm here and you're ok~" Almond whispered and he wiped his tears away and kissed his head and pulled his hoodie up and opened his diaper and it smelt horrible abd Almond nearly puked by the horrible smell as Hazelnut shook and whimpered softly.

"Gods what were they feeding you in that facility?" Almond asked and he gagged as he cleaned him up and felt him squeal in a strange way and try to kick Almond who quickly grabbed his leg and shook his head "no kicking me Hazelnut it's very naughty to do that."

This made Hazelnut make a grunt in frustration and he tried to kick him with his other foot and Almond grabbed it too as he felt a stream of pee hit him in the face and he pulled away with a cry and Hazelnut looked very upset about this whole thing and started to cry hard.

"Shhh shhh shhh it's ok just calm down Hazelnut" Almond said and he quickly cleaned his face up and Hazelnut up and threw away the used diaper and stuff and turn to see Hazelnut start to roll off the couch and almond let out a scared scream and dived to catch him.

And he caught him immediately and rocked him as he cried as a sudden knock was at the door and Almond sighed and rubbed his temple with his free hand and took a deep breath to calm down as he answered the know with his best formal voice he could do.

"Come in!" He shouted and Mascabado walked in with a concern expression on her face "Alms are you ok? You look overwhelmed with this child" she said "I'm fine Mascabado I just-" "No you're not, please just put the child in foster care you already have a lot going on."

Mascabado said with a serious expression and walked over to Almond who was starting to stress out more "I can't do that Mascabado cause-" "No Almond you can, you just need to-" "Mascabado I can't do that!" Almond snapped and Hazelnut cried harder.

"What?! Why not you're already with a lot of kids you need to just-" she be began Nut Almond suddenly cut her off with a very frustrated and very stressed out expression on his tired and very exhausted face and her eyes grew wide in complete shock as he shouted at her.

"MASCABADO I CAN'T BECAUSE HES MY LONG LOST BROTHER AND I WILL NOT EVER LET ANYONE HARM AGAIN SINCE MY OWN FATHER NEVER CARED ABOUT HIM OR EVEN CARED IF HE WOULD DIE IN THERE AND I RATHER DIE THEN LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO HIM AGAIN!!!"

This made all the others rush in as they heard his shouting and their eyes including Mascabado's eyes were widen in complete shock as Almond stood there and slapped a hand over his mouth and started to cry feeling stressed out about this whole thing too.

"I'm....I'm so sorry I....I..." he hiccupped softly as he looked at the ground and fell to his knees and held a sniffling Hazelnut close to his chest "I'm so sorry for that I just feel so tired and drained from this whole thing already" he whispered softly and he felt so scared.

He waited for them to yell back at him but after a few minutes he felt them hug him and comfort him as they helped him onto the couch and Mascabado rubbed his back as Cronut made him some coffee "tell us everything about this Almond and we'll help you" Oatmeal said gently.
