Oh Brother~

Chapter Five: Introducing Hazelnut

The next morning Almond felt something something as he looked down and saw Hazelnut shaking hard and crying from a soaking wet diaper and looked very upset and in pain and Almond felt bad for him and he slowly got up and heard Hazelnut whimper.

"It's ok shh shh it's ok~" Almond whispered and he went to a different room where he saw his and his wife's twins Acorn and Piñon already up and getting changed in their clothes for the day by Pecan who was humming as the two twin were now four looked curious.

"Who that daddy?" Acorn whispered shyly as she saw Almond put Hazelnut on the old changing table that was still in their room and Hazelnut started to cry and reach for Almond as he felt so scared and stressed out about this whole thing and Pecan shushed him gently too.

"This is Hazelnut and I will explain soon" Almond said and he saw Hazelnut try to bite Pecan "Hazelnut no, no biting" he whispered softly and Hazelnut whined softly and the twins looked at him curiously and he looked away feeling uncomfortable as well too.

"Kids please go to the kitchen and we'll be there soon" Pecan said with a smile and she put them down from their small climb to look at Hazelnut and they nod and went to the kitchen as Almond gave Pecan a smile "you too we'll be there soon" he said with a smile on his face.

"Ok dear" she said with a smile and she left the two alone and Hazelnut shook and stopped when Almond picked him up as he was naked and he smiled as he took the booties and the mittens off him and he looked very confused about what was going on with his brother too.

"It's ok I got to wash you up and get you ready for the day" he said and he went to his bedroom and into his own personal bathroom and got out of his pj's and was naked too making Hazelnut more confused about what was going on until he saw the shower and turn pale.

"It's ok kiddo it's ok~" Almond whispered softly and he felt him grip on his chest hair and he whined softly as Almond winced a little bit and hoped he wouldn't pull it "trust me kiddo it won't hurt" he cooed softly and he went into the warm water and looked surprised.

He saw Hazelnut shake and tremble and cover his face and he suddenly looked surprised at the feeling of the water as he touched it and shook his hand and it felt...nice and he looked very curious as his hair got soaked and Almond poured shampoo in his hair and scrubbed it in.

This made Hazelnut make a face and suddenly peed in the shower making Almond sigh "good thing you did this in here" he said as Hazelnut shook and whimpered softly and looked very fussy to him and looked very hungry too and Almond finished up and changed him.

Then he got his Commissioner outfit on and went to the kitchen and saw Rougefort feeding Brie and Acorn as Piñon and Bean were playing with their food with big smiles and giggling softly and Walnut stopped them "don't play with your food guys" she said firmly.

"Awww but Wawnut we wewe pwaying!" Bean said with his lisp and Piñon nodded in agreement and she shook her head as Almond cleared his throat and they all looked up as Almond walked in with Hazelnut clinging onto him with a scared and shy expression.

"Everyone I want you to meet Hazelnut, he's my little brother" Almond said and he sat down holding Hazelnut close as the kids had so many questions like where he came from and how he was born since Hickory was pretty old to have anymore kids with anyone at all.

"Kids kids please one at a time" Rougefort said and he pulled Bean on his lap with Brie and Acorn looked at her mom and reached for her wanting to be held too and Pecan smiled and held her and Piñon on her lap as well as Almond explained everything to them.

"So you found him in bad place" Piñon whispered, making his twin sister Acorn to shake hard and look very scared as her mother rubbed her back and shushed her very gently to soothe her as Almond nodded as he did the same for Hazelnut who was whimpering quietly.

"Yes kiddo and I want you to be gentle with him and no rough housing with him" Almond said and he looked at him with a 'I'm serious' expression on his face making Piñon nod and Acorn looked very curious about something as she asked Almond a serious question.

"Can we play with him if we're gentle with him?" She asked and Almond soften and nodded as Hazelnut began to whine feeling cold and wanted to eat now and he kicked and started to squirm feeling very upset about this whole thing making Almond feel bad.

"Ok okill get you some food" Almond whispered and he went to get up but was stopped by Rougefort "I already had made you oatmeal dear" they said and handed him a warm bowl of if it and Almond smiled and thanked them and suddenly Hazelnut shove his hand in!

He let out a scream and shook his hand as it hurt badly and Pecan quickly went over and wiped it with a cold wet bany wipe and he pulled away making a scared sound from his mouth as he glared at the bowl with a pout as Almond sighed and had to teach him.

"You use a spoon fir that and never touch something warm with your bare hands" he said with a frown and he lightly scolded him for that as he looked very him feeling very confused and upset about this whole thing and whined softly and looked very troubled.

He reached for the oatmeal again but was stopped and he started to cry and felt a spoon of oatmeal in his mouth and he immediately stopped and ate it and looked very happy and pointed to his mouth for more making Almond smile and feed him as much as he could eat.

Soon he had two bowls of oatmeal and a glass of milk and looked a little better and not skinny and he burped and looked very calm as Almond cleaned up his face and Walnut and Bean smiled as they had to go to school and the twins and Brie had to go to their daycare too.

And Rougefort and Pecan had their jobs to go to so where would Hazelnut go? He couldn't stay home all alone, that would be very traumatic and a very bad idea for everyone and Almond sighed not knowing what to do until Pecan smiled and had a idea for her husband.

"Take him to your office dear" she said "are you sure about this? What if he-" Almond began but stopped as Pecan giggled "I'm very sure, I mean what could happen to him" she said with a comforting and warm smile on her face and Almond smiled back.
