Oh Brother~

Chapter Ten: Talking about it

After a long talk, Almond looked very drained and Pecan and Rougefort looked shocked and completely dusgusted when they heard what happened to Hickory and poor little Hazelnut and Pecan slowly spoke up first aster a few minutes of silence too.

"So he...he just left him at that place?...why...WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?! THAT'S SO CRUEL!!!" She shouted and Rougefort shushed her gently and held her close as well as Almond who looked so very upset about this whole situation with his father also.

"I really want to talk to him about this whole thing and I want to go alone with Hazelnut" he said with a frown and he looked at his partners and they nodded their heads and kissed him as they understood that completely and were supportive of his own decision to do it.

"Just try to rest up before you go there darling" Rougefort whispered softly and Pecan nodded her head in agreement with that and Almond sighed and nodded his head in understanding what they wanted and they all got ready for bed and went to bed cuddling close too.

And the next morning Almond felt a little bit better about this whole situation and called out for a family matter and went to Hazelnut who was asleep in the crib and picked him up as he whined and then relaxed as he smelt Almond's familiar scent he always had.

"Ok kiddo you need a warm bath and then we gotta eat and go somewhere for a important reason" Almond whispered gently and he pealed his diaper off and his oneise he was wearing and threw Hazelnut's dirty diaper away and put the oneise in the laundry basket as well.

Then he put the toddler in a baby tub since the last time he was in the tub nearly caused Hazelnut to drown and traumatized the poor tiny two year old and Almond put him a more safer and nicer tub for babies which Hazelnut fit and the Doughling didn't put up a fight.

"Good boy Hazelnut good boy~" Almond whispered gently and he scrubbed his face off making the two year old toddler scrunch up his face and whine with a soft cry of frustration and discomfort as Almond shushed him gently as possible as he continued to work with a smile.

Soon he was done and dried the two year old and diapered him and he carried to the nursery and looked for something to dress him in as he put the two year old down who sat there no moving before grunting and reaching for the red hoodie he absolutely loved.

"You want that hoodie again?" Almond asked and he smiled as he knew he loved wearing the same thing as he also did as well and Hazelnut whined and reached for it more and Almond smiled softly and gently grabbed it and helped Hazelnut put it on and he looked happy.

It covered his diaper and was over his knees and the sleeves were very long and the hoodie felt very baggy but the two year didn't care as he purred softly feeling so very happy with this and was content as Almond picked him up and he clung onto his way older big brother.

"Ok please don't be so hard for me while we're out ok?" Almond asked with a gentle smile and Hazelnut yawned and looked calm as Almond put him down and put a diaper bag together for Hazelnut and picked up the toddler and went to the kitchen to say goodbye too.

"Ok we're off and we'll be home soon" Almond said and he kissed and hugged his partners goodbye and then the kids as Hazelnut felt confused about what was going on with him and wondered where they were going today and why was Almond looking upset about also.

"Ahma?" He cooed abd touched Almond's face as he belly rumbled for something to eat and Almond sighed softly and put him in his lap to eat something real quick for breakfast as Pecan made Almond coffee to take with him when he went to his father's house.

"Just try to listen and don't jump to conclusions" Rougefort said with a gentle smile as he handed Almond a bowl of oatmeal to feed Hazelnut and Almond nodded as he fed the two year old his food "and try not to lose your temper dear" Pecan added as well too.

"Ok ok I will" Almond said and he soon was done feeding the toddler and he cleaned up Hazelnut and then grabbed the diaper bag and they went to the car as the kids looked curious about what was going on with their dad and Hazelnut and Bean suddenly spoke up.

"Momma, ma wat da doin'?" He asked and he saw Pecan and Rougefort looked at each other and sigh softly "nothing baby boy it's nothing to worry about" Rougefort said with a smile and Pecan nodded her head in agreement with that as they kids all still felt curious about it.

But before they could keep asking they were taken to their schools and daycare for the day and Pecan and Rougefort went to work at the places they absolutely loved working at with smiles on their faces as Almond was feeling a little bit worried about this situation.

"I hope he has a good explanation for not saving Hazelnut...no he better have a explanation!" He shouted in his head as he saw Hazelnut yawn and fall asleep with a calm expression on his face and Almond sighed and rubbed his temple with a frown on his exhausted face too.

"Ahma?" He heard Hazelnut softly in the backseat and smiled "its ok Hazelnut I'm ok" he said and he gave the two year old toddler a smile to help him understand he was doing ok and not to worry about him as they slowly drove to a very nice looking mansion and parked as well too.

"Ok Hazelnut this is my old home and where your..." Almond began then he stopped and sighed and got our and went to Hazelnut's side and opened the door and unbuckled him from his car seat and picked him up abd grabbed the diaper bag and went to the front door.

"Ok you got this Almond, just knock on the door and he'll open the door and you two can talk this whole thing over" Almond whispered in his head and he swallowed hard cover up a lump forming in his throat and he heard footsteps and someone coming as well.

As they waited Hazelnut had grabbed Almond's tie and stuffed it in his mouth making Almond smile as he thought that was pretty cute to see as the door opened and Almond's eyes widen and he was shocked to see his older twin brother Tiger Nut right at the door too.

"What ate you doing here?" Almond asked with a glare "I live here unlike you do~" Tiger Nut snarled "well I need to see...father...it's important" Almond grumbled "why do you need to see him and why do you have a kid with you?" Tiger Nut said and Almond sighed softly.

"He's our brother and I'll explain later~"
