Oh Brother~

Chapter Two: At the hospital

After going there Almond saw a few nurses at the nurses' work station which was the front reception desk and they smiled as he and Pecan walked to see them and the receptionist looked at them with a warm welcoming smile and they gave a small smile hack to her too.

"Welcome Sturdy Bones Hospital and may help you?" She asked with a gentle smile and Almond nodded his head "yes I need have this child and he needs a check up after I found him a laboratory that I have found out was in serious suspension of doing strange activity."

He explained this as the nursed grew concerned about what happened to the Doughling and she peeked into the coat and gasped as she felt so very bad for them and took them as they started to kick and squirm feeling scared to death as they started to cry and scream loudly.

"Shhh shhh it's ok little one~" she whispered and she took the child and Almond looked suddenly concerned "wait! I need to stay with them!" He shouted and he felt a strange connection to the little Doughling and had to be there in case they did something bad!

"Very well sir come on!" The nurse said as she suddenly stopped and faced him and Pecan nodded at Almond to go and he nodded back and took off after the nurse as she went to a room and pealed off the vomit covered coat and the handcuffs fell to the ground loudly too.

"Sir your handcuffs are dirty too you should clean them" the nurse said with a frown and Almond nodded and carefully cleaned them as he saw the child's panicked and frantic expression and they started to fight against the nurse who called for some help as well.

"Calm down sweetie just calm down" the nurse cooed and she suddenly felt a strong feeling something scratching her and bite her arm and she screamed in pain as the child was having a temper tantrum as they were refusing getting a bath by someone they didn't even know.

"Hey! Don't bite!" The other nurse shouted and the Doughlingstarted to have a panic attack as they heard a different voice shouting at them "sedate him before he does it again!" The voice screamed and they suddenly hit the Doughling hard as they screamed too.

"Hey!" Almond suddenly shoutedand the child stopped and started to cry hard as they looked at Almond who glared at him with a worried and stern expression on his face and they felt the nurses pull off their old hospital gown and put them or rather him in the tub.

They then carefully started to clean him as Almond walked over to see him as the nurses cleaned the child "It's a boy sir" said the first nurse and Almond nodded as he looked at her arm and felt bad for that as she sighed "It's ok sir ill be ok and he's just feeling very scared."

"I understand that but he should not bite its very naughty" Almond said and he gave the the little boy Doughling a light glare and he whimpered softly and looked very scared and stressed out about something as Almond jingled his handcuffs to distract him with a smile.

This made the Doughling look and reach for them as Almond talked to the nurses "how olddo you think he is?" He asked as the child reached for his handcuffs with a smile and stary eyes as he liked the way they sparkled and glimmered and looked very familiar to him as well.

"Hmmm I would say 2 but very small for his size cause of malnutrition that stunned his normal growth rate" the nurse said with a frown and soon she paled as well as Almond asthey suddenly saw something that shocked them both that was on the Doughling.

They saw scars on the child's back and arms and legs and they looked like they were made my someone who was probably a scientist or doctor at the facilities he had uncovered and put a stop to with his friends and the cops with no problems with anyone there.

Strangely this Doughling was the only one alive there and why did he look like his father? What was going on with this whole situation and Almond sighed and had a good idea of something he could use to figure out who and where his mom and dad could be in the city too.

"Can I ask you to do a DNA test for me so I can find his parents later on?" He asked and the nurse nodded and she pulled the child out as he kicked and squirmed hard and fussed softly as the nurse sighed softly and Almond had an idea and tapped her shoulder lightly.

"Let me do that" he said and the two nurses looked at each other with a surprised expression and then smiled and nodded and let him wrap the child up and dried him off gently as possible as they didn't fight against him and only whimpered softly and looked upset too.

"It's ok kiddo shhh it's ok~" Almond whispered and he wrapped him up in the towel and the second nurse left as the first on handed Almond a new gown to wear and Almond nodded and put the child on his lap and un wrapped him and felt bad at the way he looked.

He was super skinny and was shaking hard as Almond put the gown on him and he looked at Almond with his brown eyes and he looked very curious as he suddenly squeaked and he looked in pain as Almond looked very puzzled for a minute before he made a grimace.

"Oh Gods first you puked on me and now you peed on me?" He asked with a sigh and the child whimpered and started to cry like he felt bad for doing it and Almond felt bad for him and rubbed his back softly as he soothed him as the Doughling cried very softly.

"It's ok I'm not mad at you kiddo" Almond whispered gently and he saw him whine as his stomach growled loudly and he looked very upset about this whole thing and buried his face into Almond's chest as Almond sighed and cleaned him and put a new gown on.

Then Almond got a pair of scrub pants and put his pants in a bag to wash when he got home but for now it wastime for something he knew was gonna be a very long and stressful time and that was the child's first ever check up at the doctor's office and he felt very worried about it.

'Please let this be easy and not so stressful for the Doughling or me tonight!' he thought in his head as he walked to a different room with the child in his arms and sat down in a chair and waited with a frown and he felt the child wiggle and look at him.

"It's ok I promise I won't let anyone or anything happen to you again" he whispered softly and he suddenly looked as a sweet and friendly male cookie walked in the room.
