The day i met you. (Neteyam x oc)

Chapter 3

Let's say teaching forest people about all the life under sea was a lot more harder than i thought. It was just pure chaos. The little girl, who i learned name was Tuk always complained about how we are stronger and that's why Ao'nung won a race in swimming with her. I see that this family is really energetic too, i think Ve'ytiri who is watching their every step from the beach would really like them. But i don't like them very much. 

My ears just hurt from the noises Tuk made. I think her screams were heard at the other half of the island. ,,It's not hard to ride an ilu, if you rode a big creature like ikran i think it would be easy for you guys," i said while swimming up to them. ,,but i'd like to know what are your names." i finished with a cold look plastered on my face. I really don't feel any mercy for them. It's my island, their place was forest not water.  

,,Maybe you would told us your name first?" Tuk said with kindness and innocence in her voice. Her voice was really similar to Li'laak's as they were i think the same age. ,,It's rude to not answer questions," i started and began to look her up and down. ,,child." again my voice was cold, like on winter morning. The oldest one begun to swim a little towards me. ,,Watch your mouth about my sister. It's not like you are the best on Pandora. Stop being so cocky." he replied to my words with the same attitude. 

Who does he think he is? It's my island, go back to the fucking        forest monkey. I looked at him in the eyes. Our faces inches away from eachother. ,,Learn who are you talking to, monkey." venom in my voice was heard as i said this. His eyes were full with anger and i could tell he was furious. But our eye contact broke cause of Tsireya's words. 

,,Stop it! Tselia you're supposed to be teaching them not being mean to them." Great, good job Tsireya, now he knows my name. I could tell he was thinking the same as he started to smirk. ,,Oh! So your name is Tselia?" he said with faked innocence and kindness in his voice. ,,It's none of your business." i said angrily. 

,,Ah, that's funny. It technically is my business as i'm now living here." he pointed out. ,,You will never be like us! Get back to your burning forest!" i finally said words i wanted to say since they came here. The younger brother's face after my words was full of hurt as he lowered his head in sadness. Tuk started to cry and hugged to her older sister who was glaring daggers at me. I think she just wanted me to drown in the water, but that's just how i feel. 

He began if that is even possible coming closer to my face. I felt his shaken breath on my face. ,,Say that again, fish." he said with low voice. The calmness in his voice was actually kinda scaring. But he was pushed back by Ao'nung. ,,Get back to the lesson!" he angrily exclaimed. He is really similar to his mother who scolded with the same tone of voice as he just used. Ao'nung was really close to me, he was  always in my life as he is Tsireya's brother. 

He looked in defeat at me, probably cause i promised not to cause a scene and i just did that. I mouthed 'sorry' and he just nodded and got back to teaching the newcomers about riding an ilu. I didn't want to be close to the older brother and decided to just leave. I asked Ao'nung and Tsireya about it and they shared the same decision. 

I begin to swim to the beach. But before i left my eyes met his. We held the eye contact for a few minutes, but i just left not wanting to look at him. I slowly started to walk to my home. I thought about our argument. I can't believe Tonowari let them stay here, they are forest people! We are reef people! They just don't belong here, they supposed to swing through trees and fly on their ikrans. As i thought about ikrans i saw one flying above me. Please is there more of them?! How big their family is?! The ikran and his owner began to fly to the same spot as the family when they first came here. I looked at the sky not seeing another ikran. 

Then i was pushed and i fell. I looked up and saw that the Sully family just pushed me to the ground and left with any apology. I scoffed and started to get up while brushing off the sand. Tsireya saw that and was just as confused as i was. We quickly began to walk to the shore and saw something that i thought was over. Another forest monkey came here. I think Ao'nung is feeling the same as he is circling around her. 

Yes, it was a woman. Around the same age as me. Her and i shared a look, her eyes were tired probably because of the flight. Then she saw the Sully family and began to run towards them. I don't know who she is to them, maybe another sister or maybe just a family friend. What do i know was that the Sully's were happy to see her, except him. He just looked at her not phased as she saw hugging the sister. 

I walked out of the circle and went to find Ve'ytiri. She knew everything about everyone on this island. She like our mail, telling everyone everything. But she never shared my secrets which i'm grateful for. I spotted her under the palm tree we were always sitting under. ,,I thought you would never come." she knowingly said. ,,You know i always come." i said while sitting beside her. ,,What's their name?" i asked her. 

,,Which one? The new one?" she asked me. ,,No, not the new one. The family, what's their names?" i asked knowing she will tell me that one caught my eye and that i like one of them. ,,What? I thought you hated them?" she confusedly asked, yeah i hate them but i want to know who am i talking to. ,,Yeah i hate them, but i need to teach them so i want to know their names." i explained, her face said 'i don't buy it' but she still told me."The older brother's name is Neteyam, the small child is Tuk," she shared the names. ,,the younger brother's name is Lo'ak and sister's Kiri." she lightened me. 

So the men name that i fought with is Neteyam. ,,Thank you Ve'ytiri." i said but my eyes were glued to the family and their new friend that came to our island. New friend that surely won't be mine.
