It's been a day. Chuuya honestly wanted to avoid Dazai as much as possible, being he was scared of the other, but that was almost impossible when they shared most of their classes with each other. He was forced to communicate with him.
Although he hated to be in class with him, he had no option. Portland High was far more stricter than his previous school and there was a much worse punishment for skipping here.
As Chuuya walked in the classroom and took a seat next to Dazai he had a pout on his face. He didn't want to sit next to someone who he felt weak with. It made him feel like he lost all his authority, and he couldn't stand it.
"Chibikko~" Dazai sang, happy to see the ginger as he sat down. "Glad to see you showed up."
Chuuya glared at Dazai and then to the ground, keeping silent. He didn't want to talk to Dazai at all. Dazai was confused. It didn't make sense for the other to be ignoring him after they got on okay terms with each other. "Chuuya? Did I do something wrong?"
"...I don't want to talk to you," Chuuya muttered. "just leave me alone."
Now Dazai was determined on getting Chuuya to talk. He pulled Chuuya's desk closer to his and brought his lips to his ear. "Chibi, what's wrong? Did I hurt you?"
Chuuya didn't reply and only kept his eyes focused on the ground, frowning.
Dazai sighed, deciding to speak in a more stern tone now. "Chuuya. Tell me. Now."
There it was again. The feeling where Chuuya felt he absolutely had to listen to Dazai and couldn't talk back. The feeling of submission, weakness, and vulnerability. "I-I..."
"You what?" Dazai hummed. "Go on."
"I-I feel weak... With you. And I don't like it," Chuuya answered, voice shaking.
This answer didn't surprise Dazai a single bit. Matter of fact, he wanted to laugh. He could already tell that was why Chuuya was avoiding him yet chose not to say anything. "You feel weak around me, huh? Isn't that a good thing?"
Chuuya shot daggers at Dazai. "How the hell is that a good thing, dumbass?"
Dazai smiled, chubbing the ginger's cheeks. "There my little chibi is! I was wondering where he went."
A deep blush crept up onto Chuuya's cheek. "Dazai, move your damn hands!"
Dazai pouted, whining. "Why?~ Can't I adore you?"
"No! Move!" Chuuya said, then deciding to take action himself and got up, earning a look from Dazai. "Hey, fuckers, who the hell wants to switch seats with me?!" he hollered across the classroom.
Many hands raised, including Akutagawa's and a few others. Most of them were girls that definitely had a crush on Dazai, but before anyone could switch seats with him, Dazai grabbed Chuuya's wrist startling him. Chuuya lost balance as Dazai pulled him into his lap.
Chuuya turned as red as a tomato. He tried to get up, but failed due to the tight embrace Dazai was holding him in. "W-What the hell, you waste of bandages! Let me go!"
Dazai smirked, not planning on letting Chuuya go any time sooner. "What's wrong, Chuuya? This way, you can just sit on my lap instead of the seat next to me. I don't see a problem."
Chuuya was dying of embarrassment. The entire class could see him sitting on Dazai's lap and even though he did like sitting on his lap, he didn't want that attention. "Dazai! Fucking let me go! I'm not joking!"
Dazai chuckled. "Yeah? What are you gonna do about it?"
"I-I'll fucking kill you!" Chuuya protested.
"Go on, I'm waiting," Dazai hummed.
Chuuya took Dazai's arm and pulled his sleeve up. Then he opened his mouth and bit him the hardest he could.
Dazai nearly screamed as he immediately let go of his grip on Chuuya. "WHAT THE FU—"
Chuuya quickly took this as an opportunity to be let go, as he finally got released from the tight embrace. "Hah! Dumbass! That's what you get!"
Dazai pouted, rubbing the spot on his arm where he got bitten. It was such a bad bite that he could see a deep mark. "That hurt, Chibi!"
Finally, the bell rang, and the teacher had demanded for Chuuya to stay in his assigned seat. Chuuya had a sad pout on as he next to Dazai in his miserable seat.
As Chuuya looked out the window, he started remembering how it was in his old school. How everyone acted like disgraceful burdens and how they always got in trouble. Things like,
Bullying.
Fights.
Violence.
Every.
Day.
Constant suspensions.
Scoldings.
Fun.
Until it stopped.
Now that the King of Sheep Highschool got expelled, he already knew the school changed. There was nobody in control anymore which lead to confusion and obedience. They needed a specific rebel to guide them, but now that he left, they lost their courage to disrespect their school.
Chuuya lost all his close friends, his dominance, and his authority. Now at his new school it was like he was the one being controlled. All because of a certain idiot named Dazai that he couldn't help but feel submissive around.
He thought about how Dazai had bandages everywhere on his body, and it honestly concerned him. He knew the brunette had a suicidal reputation but those bandages just seemed outrageous.
"Hey, mackerel," Chuuya spoke up, looking at Dazai who looked back. "are you suicidal or something? There's bandages on your entire body."
"Oh, that? They're just a couple bruises," Dazai nervously explained. "from uh, fighting, and stuff..."
Chuuya looked surprised. "You can fight people?"
Dazai let out a chuckle. "Chibikko, of course I can fight. Why do you think I got sent to this school?"
"I thought you chose to go here!" Chuuya said, flabbergasted. "What the hell did you do to get sent here?"
"I hurt a couple of people," Dazai grinned. "although they deserved it. But don't worry, I'd never hurt you, so you don't have to scared of me."
Chuuya scoffed in disbelief. "Scared of you? I could beat your ass if I wanted to, Dazai."
"You mean you could bite me if you wanted to, right?" Dazai laughed, getting nudged by Chuuya.
"Shut up! I'll do it again if I have to..."
