Little timeskip

After putting on the movie on their TV, the two sat on the ground right in front of the couch to watch it. However, the ginger didn't want to show how he was getting scared. He forced himself to silently sit through the movie and not give a single complaint.

Dazai wasn't paying too much attention to the movie. He was just staring at Chuuya the entire time, looking closely for any movement that showed a sign of discomfort to offer him immediate comfort, but it was getting frustrating on how long it was taking.

Finally, Chuuya had shown a sign when a slightly disturbing scene came. He uncomfortably shifted closer to Dazai, clearly not feeling too safe anymore.

"H-Hey, mackerel, can you switch the movie?" Chuuya asked, hoping Dazai wouldn't notice he was getting scared.

Dazai widely grinned, clearly noticing. Finally. He's getting scared.

He quickly went back to a straight face. "Switch the movie? Why would I do that? I don't see a problem with this one."

"This one is just kind of b-boring..." Chuuya hesitantly answered, hoping Dazai wouldn't notice that he's lying.

"Sorry, chibi," Dazai pulled Chuuya closer to him, but this time the ginger didn't even stop him from touching him. He just allowed it. "no can do. We can change it after this one is over, I still wanna know what happens."

A pout formed on the ginger's face, instantly making Dazai feel bad, but he quickly forced himself to stay in check in order for his plan to work. He couldn't get distracted and flunk that easily.

We must stay focused, brothers, we must stay focused!!!  Dazai rooted for himself in his head.

"Do we have to...?" the ginger mumbled as he turned his attention back to the TV, not even bothering for an answer. "Tch, fine..."

Dazai softly smiled at him, which the other could not see. He knew it was all worth it in the end.

Awhile had passed into the movie, and Dazai couldn't help but be very excited for a specific scene. A very specific scene that would end up scaring many people on their first time seeing it.

The scene where the girl slowly goes closer to the TV screen, and then comes out of it.

Not only did he love that scene himself, but he just couldn't wait to see Chuuya's reaction for it as well. He was dying for it to come on already.

The brunette waited and waited, and finally, the time had arrived.

She crawled closer and closer to the screen...

She kept crawling, until she got super closer...

And then she came out of the screen.

Chuuya screamed as he quickly turned himself away from the TV's direction, burying his face into Dazai's chest. "Turn it off, turn it off, turn it off!!!"

Dazai's eyes widened, quickly taking the boy into his embrace. He grabbed the remote and turned the TV off at the speed of light. He could feel the ginger shaking in his hold and got heavily concerned. "Hey, shh, chibi. It's not real! She can't actually come out of the TV."
