Soon, the two finally got finished changing and started to walk to the gym together. To say that Dazai wasn't checking out how Chuuya looked in the gym uniform would be a huge lie, because he couldn't take his eyes off of him.
It was so hard to stop staring at how pretty he looked.
He thought maybe he should give him a compliment.
"Hey, Chuuya," Dazai spoke up. "you look really ugly in that uniform. Just thought I'd let you know."
Chuuya shot daggers at Dazai. "Excuse me? Look at you! You're— you look like a fucking blue fish floating in the air!"
"What type of insult even is that?!" Dazai argued back, dumbfounded. "At least I don't have the body of a kid! You probably haven't grown an inch since you were 5 years old!"
"My height is none of your damn business you punk, you're just fucking tall!" Chuuya argued. "I don't know why you haven't commit suicide already—"
"Ooh, did someone mention suicide?" Dazai suddenly grinned, switching up. "I like that topic, go on."
Chuuya looked confused as he looked at Dazai. "You... like suicide?"
"Sure I do," Dazai chuckled, saying as if it was something completely normal. "Doesn't committing suicide interest you? Don't you ever wonder what's after?"
Chuuya nudged the brunette, hoping his concern wasn't obvious. "Don't say stuff like that, dumbass... you'd be gone forever..." he muttered.
"Aww," Dazai cooed at the ginger. "is chibikko concerned about me? Would he miss me if I commit suicide?"
"I never said I was concerned or that I'd miss you, I'm just saying!" Chuuya quickly defended himself, shyly looking down at the ground hoping Dazai wouldn't notice him blushing.
Dazai smiled, purposely not saying anything. He was aware that he flustered Chuuya, but this time he chose to not point it out. This time, he just wanted to admire the ginger instead of making fun of him.
After a couple seconds had passed of just staring at the ginger, Dazai finally spoke up again.
"Hey chibi. Do you hate me?" Dazai suddenly asked. It was a random unexpected question, but he had to know. He really couldn't tell if the smaller boy actually hated him or not. Chuuya was hesitant to answer the question truthfully, but he did.
"...No, I don't hate you," Chuuya quietly answered. "I like you."
Dazai bit back his smile. "Hmm? I didn't hear that, could you please repeat it for me?"
Chuuya glared at Dazai. "No, I don't like repeating myself."
Dazai lightly pinched Chuuya's hand, making him wince. "I don't like repeating myself either, Chuuya."
Dazai definitely noticed Chuuya wincing. He liked seeing the ginger wince more than anything, it gave him a large amount of satisfaction.
Dazai let out a bored sigh when Chuuya didn't respond with anything. "Chibi, we should skip," he randomly suggested. "PE is boring. I hate it."
Chuuya gave him a surprised look. "Skip? No! If I skip then I'll never get out of this shitty school!"
Dazai pouted, disappointed. "You don't wanna stay at this school with me?"
Chuuya hesitated before answering. "...No. Hell no."
That was a lie.
"Whatever, I don't like slugs anyway."
"Excuse me?!"
"Oh, nothing!"
"Keep my damn name out of your mouth, you bandage wasting freak!"
"I didn't even say your name! I said slug, not Chuuya! But I don't blame you, there's barely even a difference!"
"WHY YOU—"
"You should really trying growing some more height, I suggest drinking milk!"
"WHY DON'T YOU GROW UP!?"
"TELL THAT TO YOUR HEIGHT!"
"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU SUICIDAL BASTARD!"
"WHY DONT YOU MAKE ME!
They did actually end up skipping P.E, even though Chuuya rejected him at first.
After Dazai convinced, or begged the younger to skip with him, he finally agreed. It took a lot of effort, but Chuuya did finally agree to it. It's not like he was complaining or anything, he didn't mind skipping with the brunette, he just didn't want to admit that he wanted to.
