It's been a few days since Arshita has started working in Rathore&co. And everything is going alright till now except those three girls which she saw that day passing her some nasty looks. But she didn't mind at all.

Maybe they're just having some problem in their life that's why their mood is not so good.
That's what she thought everytime.

She has also befriended Shaurya and as he's the only friend there, she usually talks to him. And from her first day, she has only went to Abhimaan's office twice.

Today she decided to do lunch with Shaurya as they never get to done together because either one of them usually gets busy during that time.

"Come on, cupcake. You must be hungry." Shaurya came to her cubicle as she leaned back on her chair being tired.

"Looks like someone is tired." He chuckled ruffling her hair.

"Shaurya, don't do that." She whined pouting.

"Fine, fine. I'll not do that. Come now." He said raising his hands in surrender.

She stood up and took her phone with her.

"Did you notice that we are twinning today?" Shaurya suddenly pointed out as they both were wearing white shirts today.
The only difference was that she paired it with dark brown pencil knee length skirt and he paired it with grey pants.

"Oh yeah. Twinnies." She lightly chuckled as she noticed now.

"What do you want to eat?" He asked as she took a seat on the table.

"Anything. I'm so hungry right now." She pouted at him.

"I'll come in a minute. Wait." He said before going to order something.

Soon after he came and sat down chatting with her regarding the project they were working on.

"The boss is really cruel, I'm telling you Arshita. Last week someone did a small mistake in documents and let me tell you he fired him." He said munching on the salad that he ordered.

"Really?" She asked with wide eyes sipping her bubble tea. She never thought that Abhimaan can be this.......cruel or ruthless. He has always been nice to her.

"Cupcake, you better not go in front of him. Don't know what he'll do. You're just too innocent." He said as he took a bite from her pasta making her look at him with narrowed eyes. But he just shrugged.

She just nodded sipping on her bubble tea as she thought to herself in her mind. Now how should she tell her that their boss is her fiance and soon to be husband in some days. She has already applied the letter for leave application for that too. Because even though the marriage is with the boss itself but still she's a normal employee here.

Suddenly, Abhimaan's assistant came in the cafeteria to see her sitting with a guy near window.

"Ma- I mean Miss kapoor. Sir has called you in his office." He said to her.

"Me? But why?" She nervously fumbled with her shirt sleeve listening to his statement.

"Did you do something worng? God! Don't let my only friend die today." Shaurya groaned dramatically.

"It's regarding your application letter." The secretary said.

"Umm..okay." she whispered standing up.

"Don't be nervous. Alright?" Shaurya stood up giving her a side hug as she nodded and went with the secretary.

Not long after, they reached his floor.

She stepped out of the elevator and knocked on the office door.

A deep voice came from inside telling her to come in.
