Project

I was walking towards Aarush house in a gloomy mood, after all I had finally got a chance to spend some time with Aarush but that shithead had to make trouble for me.

Flashback :

Our teacher assigned our class a project in a group of two and fortunately I was with Aarush, and for others who cares. I was so happy and a huge grin spread across my face.

He seemed distant nowadays and also ignored my presence sometimes. So I finally got the chance.

"What are you smiling about little girl "
Ryan said pushing my head to my side.

"None of your business "
I stood up to leave.

"You're  partnered with that shorty ,I wonder how will you too even manage each other's paw, especially that flirt maybe he will try something stupid  like him" He laughed poking my cheek.

It was not funny anymore and  because he was dissing my friend in front of me.
I grabbed him by his collar and threatened him.

"Don't you dare utter a word about Aarush , Ryan " I was about to say more when a hand pulled me back from him and took me out of the class.

I saw back at Ryan who was now glaring at me mouthing I will get back at you and then I saw the person who was literally dragging me outside.

"Aarush leave me it is hurting "he dropped my wrist suddenly.

" See I don't want you to make a fuss in the class because of me " He stated dead serious.

"What ! do you even know what are you saying? I was standing up for you"

"Yes I know stop bothering yourself with me and causing me more trouble than I already had "

"Aarush, talk to me I will listen to.. "
He cutted me off by shouting at me.

"I don't want your hollow words Alina, I don't want to keep up with more shit of yours, so lets just get this project done and go our own ways " He stormed off from there leaving me dumbfounded and hurt.

He never shouted at me like this and going our own ways, is he planning to break our friendship.

Two days later :

Me and aarush haven't talked to each other since then.
I walked down the hallways feeling guilty for being a bad friend.
I entered the classroom to drink water when I saw that ugly head and teacher together with serious expressions.

"Oh Alina, you came at the right time "the teacher said signalling me to come closer.

" Well you see Ryan partner got seriously ill and has submitted medical leave to bail out from the project so I have decided that he will join other group and you happened to come to class at the right moment so I am placing Ryan in your group "

"Mam I.., you see Ryan might have a problem getting along with us "
I tried to change her mind but that bulldog had to ruin everything.

"No Alina we three will click instantly I know after all we are friends " He added to teacher side.

Friends, the hell when we get along that well to become friends although for once I can bear with him but Aarush and Ryan in one room, now this project is a turnover.

"I trust you Alina, you are a good student and my favourite one also " The teacher smiled.

I nodded my head defeated and walked out of the classroom.

"Alina " Ryan shouted from behind.

But I didn't stopped as I was not in the mood for bickering.

"Hey stupid, don't you ignore me "
He said catching upto me.
