"Can I sleep here Aarush?"

"Well, of... "
He stopped because of the door knock.

"Hey, it's me, Ryan. is Alina in there? I wanna to talk to her."
He said from behind the door.

I looked at Aarush before standing up and walking towards the door.

"I guess you have no luck."
I smiled at him before leaving the room.

I looked at Ryan before he started taking me to my room.
After we entered our room, he closed the door and sat on the bed.

"Well now I think about it, I am sorry I will get it straight it was all a mistake, maybe a blunder. I didn't mean any of that, and maybe we could start new."

He said casually, He sure is some idiot talking to a girl like that after all that.

Well, I was not attached to him or anything, so I also just took it as a fun game, but now that he tells me it was a mistake and he didn't even mean any of that, I feel like a selfish idiot. I was an easygoing person, so I told myself to not overthink, and we also don't know each other very well—just 2 months.

"Well, it's not like it was something serious we had; I thought it was just stupid hormones we can get over it, right?"
I said, putting up my brave front.

Although I can easily forget about it and him, as he meant nothing to me, a part of me still was hurt knowing it was just a play to him.

"Alina I wanted you to know that I didn't only think of you as a frie... "
His phone rang, cutting him off.

He picked it up and after few minutes, his expression changed, and he stood up abruptly. He cut the call and ran for the door.
I went behind him.

"Ryan "

"I am sorry Alina I need to leave please understand.

"But it's late night what happened?"

"I will tell you later."
He ran out of the house.

I stood there blankly. I don't know what the hell is wrong with that boy; he sure is mysterious.

Morning:
I woke up and freshened up; I packed my bag ready to leave when I heard a knock on the door.

"Are you going to take that brat with you "

"He already left yesterday night."

"What, and he didn't even told me?"

"Well, he told me so I am telling you."

"Why?"

"I dunno "

"That brat not even telling anything; he sure is a pest."

"Well, then I am off. I had made breakfast, and I had to complete my work for tomorrow's school.

"You're leaving already? visit me more in future or maybe I will and thanks for the breakfast.

I bid my goodbye and left. When I reached my home, I was tired just by thinking about how much work I had to do.

Next day:
I went to school as usual.
"Hey Alina," Samyra shouted from her seat.

"Thanks for saving me a seat."

"That's what friends are for."

"Well, how was your weekend?"

"Nothing much, just project work and you. don't tell me some stupid stuff tell me what happened between your group."
