Making Friends

"Ugh. Ouch. That hurt. Where am I? Kim!? Jason!? Secret Bear!? Friend Bear!? Anyone!? Oh no. It looks like I got separated from the others. Wait. Why does this place look familiar? Hmm. I better get to walking." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and begins walking after waking up on the ground alone in a forest.

*Timeskip*

"Wow. This place hasn't changed at all." Alexis says as she is walking in wolf form around the Forest Of Feelings.

"Alexis!" A voice shouts before Alexis seed Tenderheart.

"Tenderheart?" Alexis asks in surprise.

"I'm glad I found you. Come on. We should go back to-" Tenderheart then gets cut off by Alexis.

"Keep away from me Tenderheart. I don't want to go back." Alexis says

"What? But I thought you liked having friends." Tenderheart says in surprise.

"I only went along with it for Kim and Jason. I don't want any friends." Alexis says.

"But why?" Tenderheart asks.

"All having friends ends up doing is leaving you hurt when you lose them. I don't want that again. If you'll excuse me I'm gonna go find my brother and sister." Alexis says as she starts walking.

"Alexis wa-" Tenderheart then gets cut off as Alexis growls at him.

"I said to stay back Tenderheart. I don't wanna be friends. Now please leave me alone and respect that. I only want to make sure Kim and Jason are cared for. What happens to me is no one's concern but mine." Alexis says.

"You can't possibly mean that." Tenderheart says in disbelief.

"Yes I do." Alexis says.

"Alexis nobody is meant to be alone. Not even you. I wanna be your friend if you let me." Tenderheart says.

"No." Alexis says.

"Well will you at least let me help you find Jason and Kim? You shouldn't be out here alone." Tenderheart says.

"And you're much safer walking next to that clif edge? I think I can handle myself Tenderheart. Now please leave me alone. I won't say it again." Alexis says annoyedly as she keeps walkong.

"Alexis watch out!" Tenderheart shouts before Alexis sees a giant rock is about to fall on her before a giant heart goes under the rock and stops in from falling as Alexis gets out from under it.

"That was close." Alexis says in relief

"Are you alright?" Tenderheart asks as she goes over to Alexis.

"I'm fine. I told you stop worrying about me." Alexis says.

"Is that what you really want?" Tenderheart asks.

"Yes. Glad you're finally listening. Now go home." Alexis says annoyedly before Tenderheart sighs.

"Alright Alexis. I guess I can't force this." Tenderheart says before Alexis sees the ground under him crumble causing him to begin to fall.

"Tenderheart!" Alexis shouts in alarm before she quickly grabs Tenderheart and pulls him up.

"Y-You saved me." Tenderheart says as he stands up.

"I was only returning the favor." Alexis says.

"You do care." Tenderheart says as he smiles.

"No I don't. Don't assume things." Alexis says annoyedly.

"Alexis why are you so afraid to tell people how you feel?" Tenderheart asks.

"Why do you care so much? I know it's your nature but you're being annoyingly persistent. Can't you understand that I've been hurt and don't wanna be hurt again?" Alexis asks as she cries slightly.

"Alexis I want to be your friend. Cozyheart told me about you. She helped me find you. I know you're hurt but please give me a chance. I can help. I won't hurt you I promise. " Tenderheart says.

"Don't make promises you can't keep Tenderheart. Yes I did care when you were in danger but I refuse to be hurt again. I lost my birth family and then lost the care cousins who took me in I was separated from them. I can't loose anyone else." Alexis says sadly as she shifts to human form.

"Then I won't make a promise. Just give me a chance. Can you do that? Just try to trust that I do care about you. Please?" Tenderheart asks.

"How do I know it won't end the same way?" Alexis asks sadly.

"Only one way to find out. Will you trust me?" Tenderheart asks as he holds out his hand.

"Okay." Alexis says as she cautiously takes Tenderheart's hand.
