The recovery

I normally don't post on the weekends but Spitfire497 made me feel good about my writing skills so I am gonna keep working in my free time

It didn't take very long for you to wake up with your demon healing

You sat up in your bed at the butterfly hospital to come face to face with kanoe who now runs the butterfly mansion alongside Aoi

Y/n: "Kanoe! Why are you just watching me sleep?!"

Kanoe: "You have a mark on your face and slightly sharp canines." She spoke with an emotionless tone

Y/n: "What do you mean by that; It doesn't give you permission to be creepy!" You had to refrain from yelling those words

Kanoe: "You seem to have stopped a demon transformation halfway through Y/n."

For some reason, those words hit you harder than reality ever could, because it proved all the earlier events weren't another nightmare

Before you could process the information someone punches a hole through the door and you see a boar head fit through it

Inosuke: "Y/n are you ok?! Are you hungry?! I brought you acorns-"

You smile at his normal worried behavior before you hear Aoi down the hall

Aoi: "GET BACK HERE YOU STUPID BOAR!"
She screamed as she tried to yank inosuke away

Inosuke: "HEY LET GO I WANN CHECK ON Y/n!" you heard him scream as he got dragged away

You burst out laughing before seeing the door handle move

Nezuko: "hello Y/n are you feeling ok?"

Kanoe: "Finally a sane person that uses a door properly." said with an annoyed expression eyes on the new hole in the door she just fixed

Y/n: "I'm fine guys don't worry, I just need to heal my broken arm and I'll be fi-" you pause

When you held your arm up to show nezuko you could see your bones already healed and fully mended

Y/n: "Kanoe how long have I been asleep?" you say with a suddenly serious tone

Kanoe: "Only a couple hours..." she said staring at the ceiling

Then it hit you once again, you were now half demon...

And that's when you heard a voice inside your head

???: "There's no escaping me Y/n, you are under my curse." The voice spoke softly

You reach for your head feeling immediate pain

Y/n: "Kanoe, I can hear him..." you said calmly despite the obvious pain you were in

Nezuko went white knowing exactly who you were talking about

???: "I can see you, and my scent can track you down no matter where you are..."

Your face lost all colors you broke into a cold sweat

???: "I can see through your eyes and hear with your ears, running from me is pointless."

Aki quickly swung open the door and went to comfort you in your moment of distress

Right on cue, your eyes started to hurt as the voice spoke again

???: "Who is he Y/n? What is he to you?"

The pain became too much as you felt him take control of your other senses and you just passed out

While you were asleep you had a dream that you were in an endless black void with him

Tanjiro: "you belong to me now. Accept it and save yourself the trouble."

You were paralyzed, you couldn't move. You had to watch as he pounced on top of you

Tanjiro: "I will have you all for myself if that is what I want Y/n." he spoke with a crazed smile on your face

He was so kind when he was human but now he's obsessed with you and desperate to have you

You were under his control despite this being your dream you had to lay there and watch as he reached down to bite your neck easily tearing the tender flesh

It hurt but you refused to cry out in pain, you knew that's what he wanted you to do.

Tanjiro: "Don't hold back your sounds unless you want this to hurt Y/n"

You hated it, you hated how you loved him too much, you hated how you couldn't move, you hated how much control he had over you.

You knew you wouldn't be able to escape this but you refused to submit so quickly

You stayed silent with your eyes punched closed afraid to see what he would do next

He then ripped a chunk of flesh from the right side of your neck making you bite your tongue to hold back your cries of pain

He moved his head down to your collarbone before taking a bite and ripping at the soft flesh

Tears were beginning to form in your eyes but you wouldn't allow them to fall and entertain the demon's dirty wishes

Tanjiro: "I told you this would hurt the more you fight it Y/n."

The way your name rolled so elegantly off his tongue angered you

You didn't even notice tanjiro move until you felt him sink his teeth into your inner thigh

You whimpered at the sudden pain and the tears finally fell from your face

You couldn't do anything but feel it all, you had to feel him separate the flesh in his mouth from the flesh on your leg

You cried out in pain more tears flowing down your cheeks

The sounds you made only made his aggression increase

You cried and screamed

Y/n: "T-Tanjiro... Please stop." you managed to whisper between whimpers

You cried only as he got more aggressive as a result of your begging

He was toying with you, you had to find a way to wake up

And as if a genie granted your wish you woke up to Kanoe splashing water on your face

Kanoe: "Y/n are you ok?! You kept crying and screaming in your sleep."

You looked down at your body to find the previous bites and wounds were never there but the areas ached

Kanoe left to get you a glass of water before saying good night and leaving you alone with your thoughts

You stayed up all night afraid to go to sleep, you knew very well that wasn't just a dream and feared what it meant for you in the future.

Aki was outside the door the entire time after Aoi dragged inosuke away

It wasn't inosukes first time breaking that specific door to check on you

Nezuko was worried about you but didn't want to be too loud to wake you if you were still shaken up

Kanoe was examining your new features and sat there and watched your wounds close up and heal
