Chapter 6 I... I like you too, Harvey!

Evelyn's POV

After meeting Curtis, I started to consider to move to the Beast City. In Camel Village, I had to meet Bai Qing Qing and Parker almost everyday. I could NOT handle the amount of disrespect from Parker or the stupid brain - or to be nice - stubborn brain of her's. 

After a week's time to consider my decision, I hesitatingly approached Harvey.  

"Um...Harvey, I-I'm thinking of moving to the Beast City. Umm..." 

The amount of awkwardness in the air! I screamed to myself.

His face dropped slightly.

Harvey POV

Is she really different from the other females? No! Why do I care so much about her?

Evelyn POV

"Sorry! I-I just-" Trying to make it better, I tried to explain myself.

Darn it! Why did I stutter!

"It's okay. I'm use to it. I'm a weak male. I don't even have a single stripe." He said smiling, hiding his hurt behind his sunny demeanor. "I'll take you to the Beast City anytime you want." 

He turned his head away after that and started to walk out of the hut.

"Harvey - I didn't mean that!" I shout.

"I-I also want..." Ugh! Say it Evelyn! Oh, this is sooo embarrassing!

I took a deep breath in. 

"I also want you to be my male!" 

Harvey suddenly froze. 

He turned to face me. 

"You do?" 

I fight with my dress. How can this get even more embarrassing?

"Yeah..."

"I'm not hearing things right?"

"Harvey," I took his face into my hands. "I love you." 

He hugged me tightly. 

"I love you too."

He pulled away from me. 

"You know that I am weak right?"

"Harvey, you are anything but weak. You are a doctor, you help saves lives. I can't ask for anything more."

He broke into a big smile. 

There's the Harvey I know!

Waking up the next morning, I stretched my body and gasped in pain. 

Ya! I can't feel my lower back.

Harvey next to me instantly.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded.

I sat back, leaning of the head of the bed. 

Harvey in the story was weak but strong in loyalty. He was one of my favorite characters. 

"You're awake?" 

I grinned at Harvey. "Yeah. Good morning!"

He chuckled. "Actually, good afternoon," 

"What? I've been asleep for so long?" 

"You needed rest anyway."

He held out a spoon and waited for me to open my month. 

When I did, he smiled. Gosh, I love his smile!

When I was finished, Harvey helped me up and took me to the bathroom to take a bath. 

 I looked down on my chest and notice a leopard mate mark on my heart. I caressed it, knowing that it was Harvey's mark. 

I felt hands around my waist. Looking up, I smiled at him. 

He smiled back.
