(I'm going to start this story off how the last episode of season 4 ended so yeah,and this is not a y/n x mike wheeler chapter,it's a byler chapter so yeah enjoy 😊)

Mike pov:

I watch the sky standing next to will while eleven is in the front,Jonathan and Nancy on my right,then Joyce and hopper on my left."we have to leave now"el says with a serious face.we all nod and walk back to hop's cabin and get in the cars to go get Argyle,Lucas,Erica,Steve,Nancy,robin,and Dustin.

I sit by will in the pizza truck and stare out the window,I'm with Jonathan and argyle and will in the car,the rest went to get the others,as I'm dozing off I feel a tapping on my shoulder and see will look at me,he puts his hand on top of mine and i crack a smile,I look back up to see Jonathan looking at me through the review mirror.

I block off him and realize will didn't take his hand off mine,and I didn't really mind it,I'm just still in shock that Eddie died I wanted him to

Flashback!

I'm in the kitchen packing up any sort of dish since the Byers are going to California,I don't really want will to leave,I didn't properly say sorry to him that day when we were playing DND.I see will grab to DND box and put in the donation box Lucas and Dustin were going to give Erica

"Hey dude what are you doing that's the donation box?"he looks up at me and smiles"I don't need it,I'll just use yours when I get back?"I nod and continue to pack the dishes

"Mike were here"I see will and look out the window,and we were at an old house,maybe for the 50's?I don't know but we had to wait outside for the others to arrive,when they did it we all walked in.Me and will,el,Erica and Lucas,dustin and Steve,Jonathan and Nancy,argyle and robin who surprisingly got close together really fast,and then hop and Joyce.

I walk around with will until he says something "hey mike um I've been meaning to tell you something..."I look at him and signal for him to keep talking."it's not your fault" hey says,I stare at him"what?"I say."it's not your fault,for what happened to me"I look at him Still confused.

"Holly,Jolly"

"Here"el says out of breath."yeah this is where will lives"I say."Hiding"she says."No-no this is where he lives,he's missing from here understand?".I hear something fall and look over to see Dustin and Lucas with Lucas's bike on the ground"what are we doing here?"

"She said he's hiding here"I say again."um no" Lucas says"I swear if we walked all the way out here for nothi-"before Dustin could say anything else Lucas buts in"that's exactly what we did!I told you she didn't know what the hell she was talking about!"I look over at el."why did you bring us here?"I ask her."mike,don't waste your time with her"Lucas says

"What do you want to do then?"I say annoyed"calls the cops like we should have done yesterday!"."we are not!"I say"hey guys!"dustin mumbles."what other choice do we have mike?".I shrug "I don't know!".

In the distance we hear sirens,police sirens."will"I say,we get on the bikes and ride over there as fast as we can.when we got there we layed our bikes on the ground and hid behind a fire truck to see what was happening.I saw hopper in the middle but didn't think much of it.we saw a few guys in the water pulling something out,that's when I saw the red and yellow vest will was wearing before he left my house."it's not will,if can't be.."I say with tears brimming my eyes."that's will,that's really will"Lucas cris silently.

we stare in shock before I start backing away."mike"el called out and reached for my shoulder,I slap her hand away"mike!mike what?you were supposed to help us find him alive!you said he was alive"I cried."why did you lie to us,Whats wrong with you?What is wrong with you?"."mike"."what?"I start to get on my back while the others are calling out for me,I didn't stop though I kept going until I reached my house.I bursted into the house and tried to get to the stairs"Michael?"I heard my mom say,I look over to see my parents and Nancy on the couch.my mom walks up to me while I'm still crying,she looked at me and knew what had just happened,she pulled me into a tight hug to help calm me down.But none of it worked.
