Those two calls deflated Taehyung's spirit. He leaned against the sofa, closed his eyes, and massaged his forehead while letting out a deep sigh.

"Jin, let's have lunch outside."

"Huh?" Seokjin still wasn't used to hearing his name being called like that by Taehyung.

"Please accompany me for lunch somewhere nice." He said, still with eyes closed. "Do you know a place?"

"What do you want, Mr. Kim?"

"Italian food."

"Uh, okay. There's a nice restaurant by the beach for that."

"Good. Let's go!" He got up from his seat and put on his tailored suit.

The restaurant was indeed nice. It was situated right by a cape. They had an outdoor area which was a sturdy dock with wooden platforms jutted into the sea. Taehyung picked a table on the far right of the dock.

"This is nice for our first date." Taehyung smiled.

Seokjin's eyes widened. "It's not a date." He mumbled, gazing down at the menu.

"But it is." Taehyung shrugged, still with his grin.

They ordered the food, and Seokjin enjoyed the picturesque view before him in silence. Meanwhile, Taehyung's phone chimed in with some text notifications from Jungkook. He busily chatted him back and let out another heavy sigh. Eventually, he put away his phone in annoyance.

His attention was now fully focused on the man in front of him. A sight far more breathtaking than the sea. Seokjin's hair was tousled by the breeze and covered his forehead, and Taehyung's hand instinctively stretched to brush it. Seokjin was jolted in surprise and backed away. He smoothed his hair himself and tried to ignore Taehyung, but the bright red hue on his ears betrayed him.

"You look so beautiful, Jin." Taehyung said in a deep voice. Seokjin's lips pressed for a second before his poker face was back. Too late, though. Taehyung was a keen observer. That subtle expression didn't escape his eyes. So he smiled in satisfaction.

"I have to go back to Seoul for a few days. I have something to take care of at my firm." He said regretfully as their food came.

Seokjin nodded a little. He took a fork and a spoon and started to enjoy his spaghetti carbonara with extra cheese.

"How can you eat all those carbs with extra cheese but still have a slender waist like that?"

Seokjin choked on his food. Kim Taehyung paid attention to his waist?! Taehyung pushed a glass of water to him and Jin drank it. Seokjin didn't say anything after that. His red face was enough to show his flustered feelings. He was as red as a crab.

"I plan to move out from your grandfather's house," Seokjin said suddenly.

"Huh?"

Yes, Seokjin had been living with Grandpa Kim and taking care of him for the past several years before he moved to Seoul. After that, Grandpa Kim insisted that Seokjin live there and took care of the house, rather than leaving it empty and abandoned.

"I'll vacate it immediately and move to an apartment, so you can now use the house," Seokjin added.

Taehyung stared at him and went silent for a moment. "When my father invited you to come to my grandfather's Will announcement, why didn't you come?"

Seokjin furrowed. "I... didn't think I had anything to do with it... I felt there was no need for me to come." He was now unsure. Did he have something to do with it? Did Grandpa Kim leave something for him? The house, maybe?

"Please don't move out! Grandpa surely didn't want to see it empty and neglected." Taehyung begged. Seokjin stared at him. "Please?" He asked again.

"Are you sure? I don't think it's appropriate for me to live there anymore after he passed away."

"I'm pretty sure it's the opposite. He once said that you're a dear grandson to him. You'll give me a great deal of help by staying and taking care of the house, instead of leaving it.

Seokjin looked at him again and finally said, "Okay."

They continued their lunch mostly in silence, while Taehyung stared at Seokjin and Seokjin mostly ignored it. Trying hard [!] to ignore it, that was.

"You keep staring at my lips. Do you like it that much, Mr. Kim?" His patience had finally run out.

Taehyung grinned. "Glad you finally noticed, Jinnie. I bet those feel good on mine."

"I don't plan on landing it on yours."

"Tsk! So cold!" Taehyung rolled his eyes.
