Y/n's POV
September 20, 1993

We stare at each other in shock. "Why are you here?" He whispers.

"Why are YOU here?"

"I live here." We both talk under our tables. "You are the person from Nambour, right?" I nod.

"Holiday of 1987?"

"Ehh, I don't keep track." He shrugs. "But yeah."

"Hey!" Our heads shoot up. I hear a thud and look over. Bandit hit his head on his desk. "Is there going to be a problem here?" I shake my head. So does Bandit, but I can't tell if he is signaling the teacher or shaking off the pain from his head accident. "Now just because I'm your substitute it does not mean you don't have to leave a good impression. Did you know that it only takes six seconds for someone to make an impression on you? They will stick with it as well. Many people-"

I tune her out and look back at Bandit. "Talk at lunch?" I mouth. He gives me a thumbs up and we both go back to paying attention.

"No, I was friends with them a long time ago." Pat and I walk to a table in the cafeteria. "We just want to talk."

"Go ahead, mate. Your story is pretty cool." Pat pats my back. Get it? His name is Pat and he- never mind.

"Bandit!" I look up and see Y/n waving at me from across the room. They sit at a table and signal me over. Pat gives me a small push toward the table. I walk over and sit across from Y/n. "It's been six years." They play with their food.

"I just can't believe I'm seeing you again."

"Yeah, it's pretty rare that this kind of thing happens."

"Why are you here anyways?" I start eating my food. "I've always lived here. I was just on holiday that week we met."

"Well, I lived pretty far from here but my parents loved Australia when we came here for holiday." They shrug. "I like it here too."

"Where did you use to live?" I sip my juice and spit it out instantly. "Eww, the school's juice is terrible."

"Here." They push over her unopened juice box. "It's juice from a special plant that only grows in my hometown. I lived on one of many islands up north."

"I'll pretend I know of islands up north." We chuckle until I feel a smack on my back. "You got a fitting name." I look over my shoulder to see Pat.

Pat grins, "Hey, Y/n. I've heard quite a bit about you."

~Oooo! What will Pat say? Also, I don't know if anyone got the juice joke from another popular show. Let me know if you see a small resemblance. Good day/night.

~I love you.
