Kevan awoke with a new appreciation for life. He had never expected when he and Stanley had met that they would form such a wonderful connection. He lay in Stanley's arms and thought about the night before. They had talked until the early hours of the morning. Kevan had never felt so open and vulnerable with anyone before, and it made him feel alive.
He looked over at Stanley, whose eyes were still closed in sleep. His hair was spread across the pillow, and his lips were slightly parted. Kevan couldn't help but blush out of affection for him. He carefully extracted himself from Stanley's arms and got out of bed, quietly moving around the room to get dressed.
As he put on his clothes, he couldn't help but think about how the night had changed Stanley. He had gone from a guarded and hesitant boy to one who was open and willing to take risks. He knew that whatever happened with them, it would shape and mold him in some way.
He walked out onto the balcony, looking out into the morning sky. The birds were just starting to sing, and the sun was beginning to peek out from behind the clouds. He breathed in the crisp morning air and smiled to himself.
He knew that he had been right to take a chance with Stanley. It had been a leap of faith, but it had been worth it. He felt a warmth spreading through him as he thought about their future together.
Kevan returned back to the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed. He leaned over and kissed Stanley lightly on the cheek, brushing his hair away from his face. Stanley stirred and opened his eyes, looking up at Kevan with a smile.
[Good morning,] he signed, his breath still laced with sleep.
Kevan returned his smile and leaned in for a kiss. "Good morning," he replied softly.
The two of them lay together in bed for a few moments, enjoying their newfound relationship.
As the morning went on, they got up and went out into the city. They wandered around, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city. They had lunch in a small café, Stanley got a sandwich and a caramel macchiato, while Kevan got a croissant and a decaf mocha.
After lunch, they continued to explore the city, spending the afternoon in a park. They took a leisurely stroll, watching and admiring the beauty of nature. As night began to fall, they decided to head back home.
When they returned, Kevan pulled Stanley into a warm embrace and kissed him tenderly. They moved to the Pull-out couch, where Kevan lay down next to Stanley and pulled him close. They talked for hours, about their lives and their feelings for each other, and Kevan promised to always be there for Stanley.
When the night was coming to an end, and the early sun was breaking over the horizon, Kevan and Stanley snuggled close and drifted off to sleep, content in the knowledge that they had finally found each other.
