(Chapter Six) Monday-

Stanley's alarm goes off and wakes both him and Kevan early so they can get ready. Stanley lazily gets up and puts on a Polo and some Khakis. Kevan Kisses him on the top of the head and gets ready for work as well. Stanley makes some coffee for the two of them and gets his shoes on.

Stanley : "Work is only five blocks from here. We should probably go now- "

Kevan finishes his cup of coffee and agrees before getting his own shoes on and heading out the door with Stanley.

Kevan and Stanley walked out of the house, hand-in-hand, both feeling the excitement of the day ahead. They made their way to work, knowing the routine and feeling a sense of familiarity.

At the office, they split up, both heading to their respective departments. Both Kevan and Stanley worked hard, both of them feeling comfortable in their roles.

At lunchtime, they met up at the break room and shared a meal together. They discussed their work projects they were working on and made plans for the weekend.

Stanley: "How's your day been?" Kevan: "It's been good. I'm making great progress with some of the reports I'm working on. How about you?"

Stanley: "I'm doing alright. I've just been given some new tasks, and I'm getting used to them."

Kevan: "That sounds like a challenge! I'm sure you'll do great. Must be a change from pushing buttons and filing papers huh-"

Stanley: "Thanks, yeah it's quite different... What do you want to do this weekend?"

Kevan: "I've been thinking about going on a date. What do you think?"

Stanley: "That sounds great! What about the upcoming holidays? Anything you're looking forward to?"

Kevan: "I'm really excited to spend the Christmas holidays with you, and I'm sure you are too. What else is up with you?"

Stanley: "I'm thinking about taking some more tasks and maybe exploring some different departments. I love a challenge. How about you?"

Kevan: "I'm looking forward to advancing in my current position and setting new goals for myself!"

After lunch, they both went back to their jobs, refreshed and energized.

In the afternoon, Kevan and Stanley completed all their tasks for the day. They discussed the upcoming holidays and reflected on how far they had come since their first days at the office.

At the end of the day, Kevan and Stanley left the office, feeling fulfilled. They had worked hard for years and were proud of their accomplishments. They looked forward to the next day, and the next and the next, Waiting for Saturday the time of their date.

Even a Monday couldn't ruin their days.
