___During the interview__
"We don't have much time so we're just going to get right into it." The lady says.
We nod, getting more nervous by the second.
"When did you break up with Shawn Mendes?" She asks.
"A while ago. Everybody thinks that because we still hung out that we were still dating but no. After we broke up, we tarted to be friends fur a whole but it just didn't work out."
She nods. "So that baby, it is true?"
"Well, yes. But it's not Shawn's." I lie again.
"Who's is it?"
I look at Cole and say "It's his." And smile.
"Aww." The lady says.
Then this guy that has been sitting there quietly the whole time finally speaks. "Weren't you dating, Cassidy Shaffer?" He asks Cole.
"I did." Cole nods. "But, ya know, people change. They grow apart." He looks at me, smiles and says, "But we never will."
"Aww" the lady says as the guy says "How sweet."
After the interview, after the stress was released, I get a call... from Shawn.
"What?" I say, trying to be polite but not working.
"You lied!" he says pissed.
"Ya! Ya, I lied! What would you think people would be thinking of us if they found out we were that stupid!"
"I still wanna be there for that kid. I still wanna be its dad. I don't want that gay kid that you're with now to take over my part as a father. Cause that's my kid."
That's actually kinda sweet. "Of course you can see him. I'm not heartless. And I don't hate you. But Cole will technically still be that father."
"What are you naming him?" He asks, sighing.
"Him? It could be a girl!" I say sassy.
He laughs. "That's the you that I once loved." He says not harshly or rude. I can tell he said that with a sweet, genuine smile.
"I don't know." I smile. "Ill think about it." Cole comes over and puts a hand on my shoulder. "I got to go. Ill talk to you later."
"Okay." And with that he hangs up.
