Ch 29 Break Up

Byyyyeeee! Didn't need you anyways I Tweet referring to me and Cole's 'breakup'.
He Tweets out, You think you know someone...
An 'insider' already dealt with press so it should be on the news by tomorrow at the latest.
Tomorrow I'm back in LA so I'm working with Cameron.

"Cameron!" I say with my arms up when he answers his door.
We wrap each other in a big hug.
"Adri! I missed you so much. It's been WAY too long."
"Ya!!!???" I agree.
I walk in and he shuts the door behind me.
We sit on his white couch and work on a challenge for YouTube and a skit for Vine.
When were done with work, we head up to his room to catch up on life since its been so long since we've seen each other.
"So, you had your movie out, Nash had his, now I'm getting mine. We're you nervous at all?" I ask Cam.
"I mean, it all came down to the fact of will people enjoy the movie that maybe aren't my fans?"
I nod. "Alright. Ya, that's true. I see."
"So um... I heard you and Shawn broke up? Why? Wahat exactly had happened?"
I roll my eyes. "Ugh. He's... somethin else. He was... a jerk when the baby thing came in place. He didn't want any part."
"Wow. What a douche."
"Ya." I chuckle.
"So are you and that Cole guy still...??"
"Ya. Yup. We are. Well to the public no. Obviously not cause we're dating now!!!" I say with a smile.
He laughs and looks down. "Is Cole okay with that? I mean, I haven't met him but I'm sure he's a great guy. But, we're gonna have to like... kiss."
"Cam,..." I say in a serious tone.
He looks up at me.
"I'm not practicing kissing you."
He laughs and so do I.
Just then my phone rings and its,... Cole.

"Hey baby, I love you. You know that." He starts.
"Cole...??? What wrong? Is everything okay? You're scaring me!?" I say.
"I can't sit here and watch you go around kissing another guy."
"Cole, it's all fake. None of it will be real. I love you."
"Really? How come I'm sitting here alone at home and you're with him right now."
"We're working."
"Really? For five hours? You probably finished awhile ago and now you're just 'hanging out'."
"Cole... what happened? Why are you thinking that?"
"Because its true anyways. It doesn't matter. None if this does. Relationships only crash and burn. We're done. For real."
Then the line goes dead.
I drop my phone on the bed.
"What is it? What's happened?" Cam asks.
"Uuuhh... well I take what I said back. Me and Cole are no longer together." I try and put a smile on my face.
Cam embraces me and I start crying into his chest and clutch onto him for dear life.

**10:45pm**

My phone beeps.
"Everyone knows that we broke up now." I announce to Cam.
We were still just sitting on his bed. He's sitting, leaning against his backboard and im facing him. Eventually, I had no tears to cry out.
"Ay look," Cam says. "I'm okay with being a booty call.
I sniffle and crack a smile. "Thanks."
"No problem.... girlfriend." He smirks and winks at me. "I'm always here for you Adri. You know I'd drop everything for you. I love you. And I actually mean it meant it. I kinda always had. But you and Shawn... then we never saw each other. I thought when you and Shawn broke up I might have a chance. But then you moved onto someone else and I was still stuck thinking about you. Even when I hadn't seen you in forever. It's kind of weird and awkward for me that we're fake dating. Ya know, since I've always loved you."
I crawl over to him, getting closer. I sit on him, wrapping my legs around him.
I feel him tense and sit up.
I put my hands on the side of his face and kiss him.
I don't know if I meant it. But when you're heartbroken it's kind of like you're drunk sometimes.
He pulls us apart. "Do you love me?"
"I'm willing to try." I tell him honestly and continue to kiss him until I pull his shirt over his head.
