chaos high - a sonic high school drama au

Chapter 1:

The alarm clock rang in Amy's room. It was her first day of high school after all. At least, for this new school. She fluttered her eyes open, her room was plastered with posters and plushies. The walls were pink with red hearts of different sizes. She was awoken by the rays of the sun peeping through her window.

"Oh.... five more minutes." Amy groaned. She got up and looked at herself in the mirror. She rubbed her eyelids as she put on her glasses.

"Today is the day," She said out loud, glancing at her calendar which had read 'FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.' She got up from her bed to get ready. She picked a black sweater with a red heart on it to go on top of her dress.  

She exited her room, where she saw Vanilla the Rabbit and Cream waiting for her at the dining table.

"Good morning Amy, have some breakfast!" Vanilla smiled. "I hope you have a nice first day of school!"

"Thank you Vanilla," Amy smiled, stuffing a waffle in her face.

"Amy, I hope you have an excellent day at school!" Cream the Rabbit smiled.

"Awwwwwwwwwwww, thank you Cream!" Amy smiled as she began to head out.

Amy made her way toward the school. The neighborhood was quiet as she passed by some houses. It was such an exciting feeling! Amy beamed as she walked there.

But her happiness soon turned into nervousness.

"Oh, I'm making the right decision coming here right," Amy whispered to herself, looking around her new environment.

The school looked big, at least looking two story. There was a bunch of students around the courtyard. Amy gulped, feeling a bit intimidated by all of this. She was making her way around when a green blur bumped right into her.

"OW!" She yelped, groaning in pain.

"Oops, sorry!" The green blur, revealing themself to be Jet the Hawk, dashed away on his Extreme Gear.

"Hmph. How rude!" Amy huffed as she got up from the ground.

Her mind was racing with a lot of thoughts, why did she even come here in the first place? She didn't see any reason, for there she didn't even know if everyone would recognize her there, or even liked her. Amy then remembered why she enrolled into the high school, not only to expand her educational opportunities, but to see her childhood best friend and long time crush, Sonic the Hedgehog.

Amy dreamily sighed as the mere thought of his name made her blush. Sonic was a little uncomfortable, though he was cocky and a bit dense, but she didn't care. Though then, Amy got a little overboard with her crush on Sonic, which thinking about it now made Amy cringe.

"...Yeesh, it's a miracle how Sonic put up with me back then." Amy said, giggling a bit, reminiscing of the good times with him, along with their other friends; Tails, Knuckles, Blaze, Silver, Sally Acorn. she wondered if they still remembered her, and vice versa.

Nonetheless, Amy smiled as she entered the school. There were a lot of people in the halls, though a lot of them bumped into her.

"Oh!" She yelped, "Excuse me- sorry!"

"Amy?" A voice asked, making the aforementioned pink hedgehog turn to face who called her out.

"Sally!" She smiled, as she hugged her, the brown chipmunk hugging her back.

"It's really been a while, hasn't it?" Sally beamed.

Amy was stunned to see her again, to say the least, she wore way fewer clothes than before, and now Sally sported a nice-looking outfit consisting of light blue colored rings on her wrists, white gloves, blue boots with white accents on them and grey soles, a light blue vest with a black crop top, and black and white shorts.
