Chapter 4

You woke up on something warm and soft. You slowly opened your eyes to see that you were sleeping on Death's chest. You jolted up with a dark layer of blush covering your face. "OhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygodOhmygod.."

"You good?" Death asked as he got up. "What? Oh! Yes, I'm fine," you chuckled nerously. "Why are you so tense?"

"I'm not tense! Do I look tense because I don't feel tense!" you pulled out the map and walked away. "let's continue.." you and Death walked to the swamp. "Why are you following me?" you asked. "So that you don't do anything stupid."

"Fair enough."

You and death jumped from rock to rock across the swamp. "There are weapons just floating around in the water." you picked up a knife. "Put that knife down before you hurt yourself," Death told you.

You didn't listen..you couldn't hear him. "Y/n?"

You fet a sharp pain peirce through your head as you fell into the water with a splash.

"Cabrona! I told you to put it down and what did you do?!" Death yelled. "I didn't listen.." you mumbled. "Why would you do that!"

You stayed silent. "WHY!?"

"I don't know..." "That is not an answer," Death turned away. "Where are you going?" you asked, be didn't answer and just like that he disappeared. 

You knew he wasn't coming back. "I can carry on without him...." you got up and wiped your tears. You opened the map, "Cave of nigtmares. This is gonna be fun.." you sighed.

You then realied that you were suppose to be dead, you stabbed yourself in the head. Did Death bring you back? Can he do that? Your thoughts were interupted by the entrence of the cave. "Here goes nothing...."

You stepped inside and got greeted by a cold breeze.

WORTHLESS

"What?" you questioned and looked around

IT'S YOUR FAULT SHE DIED

"No it's not..." you ran further into the cave until you saw something. It was Puss, but he was made out of sand? "It should of been you who died." He said to you. "You were the one who thought it was a good idea to take the gold for revenge." Humpty said.

"Everything is your fault.."

"Mama?" you felt tears run down your cheek. "You are no child of mine," she dissapeard. "You left us for a wish, Y/n," Perrito said. "Perrito?" "We should've left you with the great terror." Kitty appeared.

"All of this..Y/n, is because of you." you heard Death's voice. "Lobo?"

He chuckled as he circled you. "What they are saying is right. Do us all a favour," he handed you one of his sickles. "You know what to do.." 

You slowly raised the sickle to your neck. "Y/n! Stop!" Death grabbed you and ran. "What?" you said as you clung onto his. Before he could say anything and giant beanstalk emerged from the ground, lifting you two in the air.

You were on seperate leaves that were moving around as the beanstalk grew. "Lobo?!" you yelled. You closed your eyes and held onto the leaf for your dear life until you bumped into something soft.

You opened your eyes and saw that the leaf you were on and the leaf Death was on had pushed you and Death together. You blushed and chuckled nervously, you didn/t notice the layer of blush of Death's face.

Death held you in his arms as the leaves seperated and you were back on the ground. "I think I'm actually dead...is this heaven or is this hell?" you huffed. "You're not dead, pendejo. Why do you keep putting yourself in dangerous situations?"

"Why do I magically come back to life when I stab myself in the head?" you asked. Death stayed silent, "Time for YOU to answer MY question. How am I alive?" Death sighed. "Because I bring you back to life..."

"Then can't you bring mama back to life?"

"No.." he replied to you. "Why?!" you cried, "Why can't you bring her back?"

"Because you need to learns to let things go," Death said, losing his patience with you. "Then why would you bring me back?!"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU! AND I WOULD NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF IF I LET YOU DIE!" He yelled at you. You froze as Death waited for your reaction, "You...what?" you stammered. "I love you, Y/n, but you need to learn to let go."

"Y/n!" you heard Puss call out. "Puss?"

"Why didn't you tell us?" Kitty asked you. "And why are you here with, Lobo?" Puss questioned. "I wanted to wish for mama to come back..but. Letting go of people is apart of life," you glanced over at Death who gave you a soft smile.
