After a while, the girl managed to regain her energy back.

For a while, the group talked about the past memories of Y/n and Leona and all the while, Y/n's experience at Grand Valley Academy.

"Yeah, instead of a hall, The Seven just made use of the floating islands. They put the mirror portals there." Y/n pulls out her phone, showing a pictures of the islands. "They're themed too! Although, I did do the exterior designs."

"Woah. You're so lucky Leona!" Ruggie cries out.

"How is that?" Leona raises his eyebrows, his half lidded eyes looking at the blonde.

"Nevermind that."

The room fell silent until Y/n remembered something. "Oh. Leona. Can I... Talk to you for a bit?" She asked abruptly.

Leona watched as the girl stood up from the sofa and towards the stairs. Hesitantly, the prince stood up and followed.

On the stairs, Y/n looked straightforward, not sparing the brunette a single glance. Leona on the other hand, was nothing but anxious. What was this about?
The two continued to walk in silence.

Awkwardly enough, Ruggie was sadly left alone with the three ghosts with no explanation. The hyena takes out his phone.

"You got games on your phone?"

"Oh what the f-"

On the third floor, the two entered a small tower on the side of the dorm. It was where they used to simply hang out in peace.
Y/n slid open the curtains and burst open the window.

The rays of sunlight poured into the small room, giving it a warm atmosphere. With a few bits of magic used, the room looked almost brand new again.

"What's this for?"

"Alone time." Y/n said softly with a smile.

Leona sat comfortably on a rocking chair. His arms and legs crossed, tail rested beside him. He could tell that something was wrong yet waited.

"Old already your highness?" The girl joked.

Leona smirked at the remark, changing his pose to that of a typical old man. "Yes. Yes I am actually."

Y/n giggled as she sat down herself. She looked at the lion prince in front of her and her smile went away. Noticing, Leona's position reverted back to before.

"Mind telling me how you're still here?"

Leona's green eyes widened. What was he going to say? Even making a sound now felt embarrassing. An inevitable feeling of regret overtook him.
His hands ran through his dark brown hair and he took a deep breath.

Y/n face changed into worry. "I mean, it's fine if it's totally private but it'll be really nice to know." She reassured. She could have just checked with others to understand, or check on it herself but thought it would have been better off for Leona to explain himself.

"Why do you even care...?"

Y/n straightened her posture, stunned. "Why? What do you mean, why? Why shouldn't I? I haven't seen you in years Leona."

Silence filled the small room. Leona faced the ground with clear conflict on his face.
"I..." He paused. "Stopped trying."

...

"Oh."

...

"Wh- Wait. Just-"

...

"What was the point of even trying anyway?" Leona's head moved upwards, an angry tone in his voice.
"What's the point in trying when all everyone is going to see is just another useless second prince?"

Y/n stayed shocked in her seat, unable to find any words. Regaining herself, Y/n stood up and walked across, standing boldly before the lion prince.

"Are you blind or just plain stupid?"

Not a big fan of this chapter either and it is quite short. I swear that there will be more progress in future chapters.

I'm still improving as a writer ಠ◡ಠ
Also I'm at highschool and trying to balance my duties with my writing.

Hope y'all enjoy your day or have a good night's rest <3

Thank you for all the votes, they bring me a lot of motivation. :)))
