The students of NRC waited, shuffling in their seats, writing and jamming the last few notes on their books, or sleeping.

The second that the bell rang, everyone packed up their books and ready to run out of the room as the professors hastily reminded the remaining students about class work.

Yu and Deuce walked quickly to the Ramshackle house with a nagging Grim and Ace throwing a tantrum for them to quicken.

The teens, plus weasel, walked to the dorm expecting the same soon-to-be renovated abandoned house but there it was. The roof and doors finally stable, the windows no longer barred by the rotting wooden planks, weeds gone and replaced with more pleasing decoration, even the grass looked greener.

Expectedly, the group ran fast to the halfway renovated house, wondering about the miracle that the dorm managed to get. Was it the work of the ghosts? What happened?

Yu twisted the doorknobs which they had locked earlier. The door opened in ease, without a single creak.

In the lounge, the group witnessed not only the ghosts but the young woman they had met in the morning, along with Savanaclaw's Housewarden and a Blonde boy with hyena ears.

The girl, seemingly reprimanding the three ghosts who stood in a line side by side each other, had her backs facing them as well as the two Savanaclaw members.

"What... Is going on?" Yu asked, completely baffled.

Y/n stopped talking, whipping her head around. "Oh! Sorry!" She said before turning her full body around. "What are you three doing here?"

"There's four of us!" Grim said.

"Oh right. Anyway. So?"

"Grim and I live here." Yu paused. "For the time being."

Y/n's head tilted a little. "So your not staying at the hotel?" She shrugged.
"No wonder there were some new stuff here."

The rest stood there, startled by what Y/n had just said.

"There's a hotel!?" Yu exclaimed.

"Yes? They're for special guests."

"So you're saying I could've been in a hotel instead of this poor excuse of a dorm!?" Grim cried, annoyed.

"Hey! This is my house you're talking about!"

"Your house!?"

"Well- technically yes. It probably got trashed over the years."

Yu deadpanned. Being forced into a school of magic without any magical abilities and having to deal with crazy shit after getting a uncomfortable night's sleep, inhaling dust wherever they went, and now just finding out they could've have gotten something a little better from the mess.

"Oh my god- what was the old man thinking? Why would he put you here?" Y/n groaned, feeling bad for the two temporary residents.
"I'll renovate this place in no time! Sadly enough, I can't make accommodation decisions."

"That's fine... But things have gotten really messy." Yu let out.

"Take a rest. You guys want lunch?"

"Yes! Let's go to the cafeteria now please!?" Grim complained.

"There's grilled cheese and pizza in the kitchen." Y/n offered.

"Since when?" Ruggie asked, surprised by the sudden mention.

"Easy bake ovens." Y/n shrugged and walked down to the kitchen.

The rest of the group were dumbfounded finding a stacks of food just gathered around the kitchen. "I used my last bits of magic to float the food in."

"Again?" Leona facepalmed. "The last time I saw you do that was a disaster."

"Please. What could go wrong?"

"Anything."

Whilst the rest ate some food, Y/n sneakily pulled a certain teen away. "Hey. Yu was it?"

"Hm?" Yu paused and then nodded. They had their mouth full, almost choking from the sudden pull. After a few fits of coughing, Yu finally focused and looked around for the culprit.

Y/n scratched her neck out of the awkwardness. "Sorry for pulling you out but I just took it as an opportunity to talk." She laughed.

"Oh. It's okay. What's this about exactly?"

"The fourth years go out to do research on topics that they would think benefit society... Or something." Y/n explained.  "My father- the Headmage, called me a couple of weeks ago about the incident with Heartslabyul's prefect." She continued.

"Oh... That. Well- I don't exactly understand magic all that well but I do know the event start to finish. And there was something at that happened after the... Battle?"

Y/n nodded as she took out a small notebook and a pencil.

------ (I am assuming you guys know the full story to chapter one but if you don't, the only spoilt part is the chapter ending.)

After explaining how everything started, down to their first meeting, the assumed cause, how they managed to solve the overall problem, Yu managed to give the older girl some new information.

Lastly, the dream like state.

"It's like a dream but I was fully aware. I couldn't move and only watch. When I woke up, it had only been a few seconds but the dream felt like more. I haven't exactly told Housewarden Rosehearts what I had experienced. I don't even know if he knows what I saw."

"Interesting. Could you tell me about what happened in the dream?"

"I can remember it. Crystal clear."
