After Liam had left to go home, I sat up in my room, sitting on my bed listening to music on my walkman. I was feeling guilty about my sudden outburst at my brother earlier this morning, but I didn't want to go and apologise.

However, there was a soft knock at the door. After telling them to come in, I removed my headphones and paused the current song playing. I looked up to see Paul who gave me a soft smile, before sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Alright?"
"Yeh." I responded, still bluntly. He sighed before breaking the silence once more.
"Look, i'm sorry. I just- you're me sister n'all and i just wanna look out for ya."
"I know, it's just, you don't 'ave to embarrass me! I can look after meself."
"Alright. That's okay. If he's nice to yer that's fine by me."
"Thanks." I said, looking up at him and giving him a smile, him returning one, before he stood up to leave.

"Paul," I called out, before he left. He turned back to me, waiting for me to say what I was going to say.
"He didn't shag me by the way." I held in my laugh, leaving him with a disgusted look.
"Fuckin'ell, spare me the details!"
I laughed once more as he left, shaking his head.

I was just about to put my headphones back on when the home phone next to my bed started to ring. I hastily picked it up, placing it to my ear.
"Who is it?" I said down the handset.
"Thought I recognised that lovely voice. Y'alright beautiful?" I immediately knew who it was just from that.

I giggled like a schoolgirl as I laid on the bed with the phone to my ear.
"How'd yer get this number?" I questioned, pretending to interrogate him.
"Stole it from the phonebook while you were in the kitchen this mornin'. Couldn't help meself."
I played with the phone cord as my smile grew wider. He really did like me.
"Anyways, me mates havin' a party tomorrow night, thought ya would wanna go with me, smash the gaff up n'that?"
I chuckled and agreed, well, apart from the 'smashing the gaff up' part. I wrote the address down as he recited it for me.

"Well, that's all from me. Speak to ya later, sweetheart." He blew a kiss into the speaker, interrupting my goodbye. I put the phone down and a wide grin appeared on my face. I was officially obsessed with a boy I hardly knew. I couldn't fall asleep for a long while, due to the happiness travelling through my mind, yet eventually my eyes slowly shut.
